Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
Oh my god trogdor hahaha rip
Hey Gundam, in regards to the songs in need of graphics I have a few updates for the links you posted. For SoC (yes if anybody asks that is the actual name - all the songs were given the same title during composition, when what became Stream of Consciousness later was only referred to as SoC), I have a much higher quality link available (this is where I downloaded the .mp3 from): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nWvdcqGE3E For Magewind, it's actually a composite of two songs. Magewind was the intro that led into another song called Crosscountry, though I gave it the former's name. The second part of my Magewind .mp3 can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hS1uT...feature=relmfu

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
Sorry to ask, but the SoC song accepted into the pack is an arrangement of Stream of Consciousness. Now, before I post gfx, do you want the gfx to say "SoC" or "Stream of Consciousness"?

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
I've been thinking about that. While SoC is the correct title for the song, it is rather bland to just put it on its own in a banner. Perhaps find a way to reference Dream Theater's own Stream of Consciousness in the banner while still keeping it unique to the arrangement itself?

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
I'll put "Stream of Consciousness Arrangement" as some sort of subtitle then. If you could, can you change the tags on the .sm to reflect this? I don't want the gfx to say something else than the .sm, it'll make it look like the gfx were stolen.

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
I have it say "Stream of Consciousness Song Competition - 2003" in the subtitle to reflect its status as an interpretation of Dream Theater's song. But if you are worried people will think the graphics are stolen (are you reusing somebody else's?), perhaps you could create a new set for them.

I like many other people's gfx more than mine, so can someone pull off something for me?

That's still no reason to try at least. Still, you asked nicely.

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
these look very nice but move the text up in the banners so the y and p can breathe
or alternative use the "TT" tool in PS to make them uppercase. Otherwise, excellent job. CBR approved. |

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
Hehe. Dude, those are seriously some kickass graphics - I love how you included everything in there, I think it makes the point real nicely. And to think I was worried about how people were going to find something decent for that song. Very nicely done!
