Okay, I worded that badly. It's not gay PEOPLE that bother me, as I have friends both online and offline who are gay, instead it's the concept of being gay that gets to me. But that's irrelevant. Also, I could technically be called a Christian myself, and I have Christian friends, but again, what irks me is the people who are blind/deaf to all non-Christian beliefs, and attempt to push them on others. Gays do that too, although not as strong in number.
But this entire post was irrelevant. I'll be leaving this thread now, let the discussion continue.

Am I the only one not surprised in the least that she would be a member of a church that attempts to "convert" homosexuals? She's heavily anti-abortion, anti gay marriage, and she wants creationism taught in public schools. She is the physical embodiment of all the religious bullcrap that the Republican party has come to be known for. McCain needs those religious idiots to have a shot at winning though, so he has to appeal to them in some way, even if he's not a religious zealot who likes to force his religious views on others.Comment

And imo, Christianity and people against homosexuality in general are ****ing stupid.
Since when is it their business if a guy wants to shove his penis up another guy's ass. So what if that's how some people get off? Most people voice out and emphasize that we should all be different. And how the hell can we be different if we get shot down by doing something they'd never do themselves? And why the hell would anyone try to convert homosexuals? It's not even up to them to alter other persons' paths in life.
Anyways, back on topic. If McCain/Palin get into office, I think I'm moving to Canada.

Have you considered the logistics on this? You, a 14 year old, uprooting yourself from your home because you don't like something the government decides to enact that has no direct impact on your own life? Heck, even if you were a young adult still living at home, I'd doubt your ability to commit to such a foolhardy plan.
I agree that the government shouldn't interfere with personal liberties like that, but you're talking very immaturely about the subject as well. You're not going to move to Canada.Comment
