The absolute best thing to do with jellyfish is to suck them up with one of those portable water pumps, the kind for bailing out sailboats. The grates in the pump slice them to pieces, and you eject the pieces at other sailors. Way fun.

Actually, read it again. 2 meters=7 feet, not seven meters. The ttentacles would still be 35 m though, and that's more than a third of the way across the straightaway on on olympic size track. So, you could be in the parking lot and just get poisoned from one of these things, if it was in a really pissy mood.
