yeah... "help their government become stable"... i think people are capable of figuring things out for themselves without the U.S. trying to set up some prop government.. Iran is a major competitor in the middle east, they have a lot to do with why we want to get involved. i dont think you should assume that America needs to help them "stabilize" or that they intend to help them "stabilize". historically, people have been doing just fine in that region... if anything they would want things to be destabilized so that they could take advantage of the chaos.
