Re: old addicating games
I'm unsure what addicating is, but try Star Fox 64 and Paper Mario both on the N64.

Re: old addicating games
The first game I got addicted to was Little League Baseball for NES. Mastering sports games became a thing for me. Later in my childhood I was addicted to Madden '96 for SNES. I eventually was able to catch my own kickoffs in the end-zone and for some reason the game considered that a touchdown for me. My record for points in a game is somewhere around 300... with 5-minute quarters. I also loved Super Punch-Out and could probably submit a decent speed-run for that game.
Probably my favorite game I ever got addicted to was Tetris Attack for SNES.
