I like how ppl are thinking he is not telling the truth. NSane sent me the mp3 and at the end of it he was snoring again not even knowing he did it.

Re: The most amazing achievement ever done in FFR history
Well, I think we can pretty much assume that no one has any idea of what is capable while you are sleeping / sleepwalking. My little brother for one is a sleepwalker and he does some crazy ****... so I think it's safe to say you can play FFR. I mean ffs you can drive cars while sleeping, make food, bake cakes, etc. Why not play FFR?

If I told you why I thought this is a hoax, would it make a difference? Unless the point of this thread is to see who will actually believe this is happened the way it supposedly did, sharing my thoughts will only result in a flame thread. I'd rather let the guy have his fun, than deal with the bull****.

Ive played xbox in my sleep, or at least turned it on. I clearly went to bed then woke up with my xbox on and a controller in my hand.

Re: The most amazing achievement ever done in FFR history
More like...consider that the sleeping person would have to accomplish the following:
(assuming FFR is active) 1. Move the mouse pointer to the rather small (clockwise) genre selection arrow (must be on first attempt - I'm pretty sure an unconscious person can't sense a spatial error in coordination, let alone accurately correct for it) 2. Left-click the arrow thrice - once again, must be on first attempt for a similar reason 3. Move the mouse pointer to the Arcade icon - first attempt etc. 4. Left-click the icon 5. Move the mouse pointer to the Excite Bike square - etc. 6. Left-click the square Note: Alternately, one could use the Sort function, but that's just as (if not more) complicated 7. Move hands to correct position on keyboard before the first arrow arrives - to get an idea of the scope of this particular task, try closing your eyes and moving your hands directly to whatever layout you use - NO SLIDING - although you might be able to correct yourself depending on what your other fingers feel (shift, caps lock, space bar, etc.), I'm fairly certain an unconscious person can't discern such tactile differences and adjust accordingly. Even then, there's still the next step... 8. AAA Excite Bike on the first try using just sheer muscle memory Yeaaaaahhh no Nice try, though |

I was in there and unfortunately I didn't believe it then and I don't believe it now.
But you know, people do get bored enough to hype themselves up and believe stuff like this, and it's all in fun so it's nothing to get worked up about. |

Re: The most amazing achievement ever done in FFR history
tsk tsk, you people need to research sleep walking because it looks to me no one has a grasp on what is capable of doing in the state of sleep walk. Research please.
Dictionary definition btw: sleep·walk (slēp'wôk') intr.v. sleep·walked, sleep·walk·ing, sleep·walks To walk or perform other motor acts while asleep; somnambulate. hmmm, motor acts you say? now let's grab that as well: "Fine motor skills include the ability to manipulate small objects, transfer objects from hand to hand, and various hand-eye coordination tasks. Fine motor skills may involve the use of very precise motor movement in order to achieve an especially delicate task. Some examples of fine motor skills are using the pincer grasp (thumb and forefinger) to pick up small objects, cutting, coloring, writing, or threading beads. Fine motor development refers to the development of skills involving the smaller muscle groups." Now correct me if I'm wrong..... But I do believe that this pretty much is game, set, match proof that you can indeed play ffr via sleep. That is all.

Re: The most amazing achievement ever done in FFR history
Yeah I don't believe this.
I mean it'd help if you had a video instead of an mp3, because really the mp3 doesn't help much.
