These last 3 episodes are really annoying. It was the same episode with minor differences showing that they are looping through time, but they never resolve anything. 3rd episode ended the same way the other 2 did and it's starting to get annoying.

There's no way that there is 8 of the same episode. There can't be anymore then one more of them to resolve the issue.

Oh wow..I thought they weren't doing anything anymore regarding Haruhi after season one, which surprised me after I finished watching it. Good to know there is a second season =D I'll have to check it out once I get home later.

Awesome, I just watched the first episode. It all kind of came back to me after that since I hadn't read the manga in a long time. I was like "oh yeah, now I remember!"

I love Haruhi Suzumiya.

I almost punched a hole in my wall after 2 episodes of no plot development, then just said screw it and haven't watched since. Apparently I haven't missed much.

A SUMMARY OF THIS CRISIS

It's like the newest episode was a recap of the episode that was two episodes ago which was actually a recape of the episode that was three episodes ago which was trying to put the episode that was four episodes ago in a new refreshing way which was just another way to put something out that was something similar to the episode five episodes ago which was supposed to end the "Endless Eight" arc but then was actually a filler right after the episode that was six episodes ago which was basically the same thing as the episode seven episodes ago which was just second episode of the eight episode long story arc of Haruhi Suzumiya which was named "Endless Eight" for a goddamn reason.

I feel as if I'm the only one who doesn't really like the Haruhi franchise and whatnot.
I'd watch the second season primarily just for a good closing, but from what I gather, nothing's really happened yet.. and it doesn't sound like anything is going TO happen.

I have watched all episodes so far.

The reasons it ended the same way is because it is all just re-caps from Season 1.

EDIT: ****ing NINJA'd...

Yeah it's really disappointing. And Higurashi did it so much better. Like what the hell man? I watched 5 episodes today cause I was super excited to see what would happen next and nothing did. I got so bored I went upstairs to take a 4 hour nap.

Damn.

At least Haruhi is adorable as hell though.

Haruhi is kind of cute I guess, but by far not the most adorable thing out there. Nothing could top Ichigo Mashimaro, and factoring in the time loop, that gives Higurashi two things over Haruhi (I found it much more "moe")

Also, for those who haven't read this yet, the guy who had worked on the show (first season at least I think) apologized for the 8 episode loops.
http://www.moetron.com/2009/07/19/ha...utaka-apology/

From what I gather, he didn't really have any part to do with the episodes, nor is part of the company anymore, but it's nice to know that somebody who used to be part of the team dislikes the time loops idea.

the guy who INITIALLY worked on Haruhi apologized
but KyoAnimations did not apologize (they are working on the 2nd season)
i dont care if Haruhi Suzumiya is "cute" or "moe" as you people call it

they milked the franchise for 2 years through nendroids, figures, all kinds of accessories, and now they provide us with 2006 quality animation and 1995 quality storytelling

haruhi officially fails now.

The quotations around "cute" are technically unneeded seeing as how it's an actual word.. but I guess you could use it for a way to show that you don't really think it is.

Anyways, I haven't seen the second season yet, like I said, but last I recall, Haruhi has always been heavily overrated, so it's kind of hard for it to "fail" more than it already has.
Furthermore, 2006 Haruhi wasn't bad in animation at all.. unless you meant quality as in just quality, not QUALITY...

Edit: Hmm.. unnecessary quotes around "fail" because I hate that word like how Hitler hated Jews, gypsies, gays, and the retarded. (or maybe I was just quoting your use of "fail")

Haruhi is extremely adorable but sexy, that's probably why. Since she has a woman's body and all. Though I absolutely love Rika from Higurashi and Miu from Strawberry Marshmallow. >_>'

Ahem.. anyway..

I really don't mind the animation of the show. The storytelling, yeah, but why would you compare it to 90s storytelling? That doesn't even make sense. If anything, something from '96 is a whole lot better than this. Hell, anything is better than the 2nd season of Suzumiya. It's so terrible that I can't even describe how terrible it is nor can I compare it to anything except maybe Inu Yasha. **** that show annoyed the hell out of me. But this is worse in comparison.

I might even venture to say that Inu Yasha is worth watching rather than this crap.

EDIT: The "cute" and "moe" are quoted from what other people have said about Haruhi. The "fail" is quoted from what people have described Haruhi to be already. It doesn't make sense about that Hitler, Jew whatever thing. It references what someone has said about Haruhi already which is what the context indicates in your post.

Actually, I (am pretty sure I) initially quoted "fail" because I really do hate that that word.
It's overuse annoys the heck out of me (especially as a noun).

And I find it hard to believe Haruhi2 is as bad as low-quality forever animus..
Seriously??

Well in that case you should have italicized the word since you're not quoting it from something else someone said or something you said before.

And yeah, it is that bad. :/

Shift+Comma is much easier than shift+left+ctrl+I/drag+ctrl+I.
I also type like how I talk. It makes you sound less retarded to finger-quote than to add emphasis on the word.

Enough grammar******ry. There's still more to Haruhi2 than the endless-8 junk if I recall, right? Whatisit, like the original 14-ish episodes, 8.... So is that like, two non-8 episodes?
Whaattt?

Do they at least animate the repeat scenes differently? Or are their bunches of EXACT copies?
