had a phone interview today with the company, apparently one of my references called me a geek (in a good way), my interviewer brought that up and said "that's exactly what we're looking for"

one of my friends from the program I went to over the summer is also a project lead for a totally different thing, sent him a resume too rofl

I'm flying in today, having a friend pick me up from the airport and take me to the interview. Interview last an hour or so, then I'll be headed back to the airport for my flight back home. In and out in a day

yeah, they'll want someone to start on monday so I'm assuming I'll know how the interview went this evening, maybe even once the interview is actually complete

if I get the job, I'll stay in a hotel in Centennial for a few weeks until I have enough to get a place. or maybe I'll just stay in a hotel for the duration of the contract

They are one of two states (the other being Washington) that has legalized cannabis for any adult over 21+. They just opened pot shops to the general public this year on the streets.

Also, even if it is legal in the state, a company can require you not to ever use it (don't even get me started on the hypocrisy of this when compared to alcohol).
