In. Looks like this is a good time to prep a char up. Also, is it possible to form parties with other players? I didn't see it on the OP and just wanted clarification.

I've already drawn a map with all of the shops and rings in advance. However, everyone else will have no idea where to go, which is part of the fun of adventuring. ^.^ I will tell you when you reach a new region and the effects of the region.

Welcome to the game!

Also, there will probably not be parties becuase only one player would decide which direction to travel. However, I'm open to suggestions of how I could handle parties.

You post it in the thread once everyday (unless you would like to stay where you are). ^.^ However, even if you stay where you are, monsters (depending on your class) and effects for both the region and possibly the season will still affect you unless you're in a safezone (e.g. a town).

When you choose a class, you send me what you would like your character's personality to be before the game starts. Once the game starts, you have the option to buy items in the shop of the town you're in (but you're not required to buy anything). For the most part, you only need to post which direction (north, south, west, or east) you would like to move once a day. If you choose a fighting class then the monster fights will be automatic, so you usually only have to post which direction you will move once a day unless you encounter a shop. Please ask if you need clarification on anything or have any questions! ^.^

You can either post in this thread or PM me the personality of your character. It doesn't have to be now since the game isn't starting for a few days, but you're free to tell me the personality of your character and the class of your character right away. ^.^

So this is pretty much one big D&D game then?

And sorry for stupid questions, but can we interact / talk / battle with other players in this thread?

Nope, this is an original game with its own ways of playing! ^.^

In my opinion, no questions are stupid and those questions weren't stupid at all. You may only battle with other characters if you are an assassin, and you may only trade with other players if you are a merchant. In terms of interacting and conversing with other players inside the game, based on the personality you have for the character you choose, if you run into another player inside the game (or you travel the same directions at the start), I will have a conversation among the people in the same place according to the story I make up. In addition, you may speak to each other outside of the game whenever you'd like.

Monster encounters are like dice rolls? Or do the characters generally win their battles?
Classes have base statistics that we should know about before choosing a class?
How do merchants obtain new merchandise? Can they adventure and find rings?
Are sharps earned from battles for classes which need to purchase their equipment?

Few odds and ends here that could be filed down, unless I just missed them in the OP.

I'm sorry, I've been busy with the school the last few days, but I'll post the rules about defeating monsters and the rest of the questions andy addressed, and I will start the game by Saturday (hopefully sooner).
