Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
I think it was mentioned that corrupted humans do know when they become slaves. Not sure where though.

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
So when you say to eliminate the threats, does this include the metroids? Does it matter if they have control of the phazon spawner? Do we have to kill the phazon spawner to win if the metroids have control over him (can wolves and metroids win simultaneously)?

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
uh, don't you have to know how to play to sign up? I thought that was always a rule?
This is probably the worst game to have as a first game.... I really hope you're kidding. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
If the phazon spawner attacks somebody with a PED suit, are they made aware of the situation or do they have to guess whether they're under attack and need to deactivate the PED suit?
That's my only real question. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
twg crash course:
wolves verse humans wolves kill someone in the night (which is right now) everyone votes who to kill during the day, the person with the most votes dies. Then it goes to night and wolves kill again and the process continues until someone wins. humans win when there are no wolves. wolves win when they outnumber the humans at the end of the day. ----------------- This game...... good luck XD. I'll explain it to you when I have more time. Welcome to TWG btw. Oh and first off, check your PM's for a TWG role PM from manti, it will tell you your role for this game. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
The stickies do a pretty good job of explaining the basic game concepts and roles/rules. They really do.

10 members reading the thread.... this game is going to be sick NASTY!!
But let me repost my idea about the ice man coming out publicly, I think it will help the humans TREMENDOUSLY. But I want some people to look at it and see if there are any flaws that I may have missed, it seems like it's a very good idea. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
I want to pull a chardish here and say with a 7 : 3 ratio of good guyz : bad guys/3rd party, it's really in favor of humans unless the wolves manage to convert a human without a PED suit, or if the metroids manage to get 1-3 kills from someone without a PED suit as well.
This is my Never Activate the PED Suit Theory (for those who have them: a. All percentages are based on the current number (20) of players. 1. Assume that the metroids select 2 (assuming the logical 66%/33% chance~kill) completely randomized targets to kill in the Night phase and the Phazon Spawner's Bomb throw during day phase is someone different as well, that leaves us with 3 nullified attacks for 10 players (I'm assuming 10 since I included Samus' special suit) on the good side who have PED suits that cannot be killed from the attacks. b. The ratio of Redsthers is 3:17. 2. Now assume that the Reds decide to take their chances and pick 3 completely different players to kill at Night, and - with a 3% chance of all of them being successful - actually does succeed, we're kind of screwed. But if they decide the logical choice of 66% and 33% (which is 21% for both being successful), we would still have the advantage of numbers throughout the game until about Day 4/Night 5, ASSUMING no one gets converted. The chances someone getting converted is 5/20 (1 including Gandradya accidentally morphing into the MW) every Night phase, ASSUMING nobody activates the suit. If you DO activate the suit, that percentage increases and our ratio of good:bad is changed and can be exponentially disadvantageous (more wolves = more % chance per kill, etc). 3. To conclude: Leaving the PED suit off still protects from attacks from metroids, but will also nullify the chance of getting corrupted by a Phazon bomb. Getting killed normally by Red, will still get you killed, but take that sacrifice for the team as it, again, [u]NULLIFIES THE POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING A WOLF SLAVE[u]. There's still a chance that Reds hit Samus or someone being guarded as well, so hope for that. tl;dr: Leave the suit off, and if you're attacked by a Metroid and your suit turns on, turn it off by the end of the Night phase. Humans without a PED suit, suck 2 be u bro. Also......if any of the calcs r wrong or if you think something's wrong let me know, i just did this rly fast in my head so i might have missed soemtihng.

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
I get the impression that not all of the relevant rules/information is in the first post. Some things need to be clarified. I'll ask later.
