I responded to VxDx's argument in a PM but apparently he didn't respond because he needs other people viewing his posts to get his point across

For all you dense people, that's the reason I originally edited his post, so he would take it to a PM if he had a problem with me, because he reposted his topic twice. This obviously didn't work because he's like a child being told the same directions over and over but the child isn't listening

here we go... my 2 cents. If you could kindly go back in time and remember who hated arch the most on the website you will see it was me. Most of you guys are stuckup and really wont give arch a chance here. I was an asshole just as much as he was back then. i took some initiative and made a truce with him and started talking to him whether he wanted to or not. now we talk more and more and realized that hes not the totally power hungry asshole you guys like to make him look like. hes mature, smart, doesnt just jump into arguments... he does research if he needs to and takes time to set his rebuttle. jewpin is 100% right that arch is doing his job because he is. so far ive only seen one thing that he should have done otherwise which was the unlocking of the thread. im not saying its wrong and it was his decision because he is an admin. but it would have been nice of him to ask jewpin if he cared or not. it doesnt matter if it was right or wrong by what you think. its his choice and hes allowed too, which is why hes an admin and you arent. basically shut up with the OMG HES AN ADMIN ITS THE END OF THE FUCKING WORLD AS WE KNOW IT shit and accept that fact that he is/will be a good mod in the future and deserves it for being 1) commited to this web site 2) mature 3) experienced. he has his own forums which are run rather smoothly from what i can see. so can you all stop with the bitching about it and end it here? let the guy do his job.

I personally think making Arch a mod was one of the best things that ever happened to the forums. He doesn't put up with n00bs, and he posts with intelligence. Just because not many people like him doesn't mean he isn't going to be a good mod. Give him a chance....

Here are some simple facts:

Arch0wl is a mod

He will follow my rules as a mod on my forum

Arch honestly cares about the future of FFR and has shown that to me over the last 8 months

If you have any problems take them up with me

We are trying to bring some reasonable control to these forums

If you cannot hold normal conversations, debates, sillyness and respect the rules.. Leave.. Nobody is forcing you to stay here

Ultimately I am trying to work for the better of the site as are all the mods. Help us make this a reality

If people would spend less time hating and more time contributing (like specforces) this forum would be a much better place
