Re: Old FFR D:
oh look, this fucen thread again.
Instead of reminiscing on the old days, why don't people start taking in the new stuff? Two new engines, a ton of new files (good/bad, easy/hard), another official tournament coming up. oh and ps mp is actually up and running, but I guess people don't know that or don't care enough to start idling. Psychoangel is starting a legacy MP tournament, join that. As for Video Chat, the admin that was supposed to work on it is lazy as shit.

Re: Old FFR D:
I like the new days more because there are more songs and I have seen so many people mature into who they are now. Things only get better with time said my grandma once and shes old so you gotta trust her

If you can tell me why people aren't getting on with it, joining in with mp and getting hyped about all the new features/songs, I'll buy you a beer~

Re: Old FFR D:
because MP is lag fest for all the new people that don't know about the standalone and the people that know about it are just trying to improve their ranks and now worried about MP. there should be a spon con with it. something about reaching a certain MP level earns 'x' amount of credits.

Re: Old FFR D:
Not really. It's a shame that some of the old posters aren't around anymore but that's it. I definitely don't miss having to play everything 1x, haha

Re: Old FFR D:
Someone should do a comparison graph. Something like a "2002 vs 2012". Synth?

Re: Old FFR D:
The only thing I miss was the number of people in mp and a spon con and kaylas tourney should hopefully bring some light back to them but if wed were able to use velocitys engine in mp that covered both engines would be the best imo because a lot of players get accustomed to one or the other.. I suck on legacy now that I play so much velos and r3 but mp is the reason I fell in love with this game.. there is no other feeling of accomplishment then beating someone who's better then you lol.. but I like ffr now..

Re: Old FFR D:
Honestly, the reason I came to FFR in the first place was because there was a wealth of interesting tokens to achieve (the skill/forum tokens). Those were fun to work towards and added an element to the game above and beyond mindless AAA'ing. It was always a blast seeing who could get which tokens, especially when some of them were balls-hard.
