Re: Midnight's Jack-The-Ripper Tourney
It's a really messy way of looking at it, the converting it to just the points you didn't get for the perfect is probably better for the average person. The way I look at it simply tells me mentally mid song why I'm gonna mash the 2-3 boos rather than miss.

Re: Midnight's Jack-The-Ripper Tourney
Fret not I am no longer able to play ffr for a few hours! What does that mean for all of you?
I'm finally gonna update. Edit: I'm gonna give you guys an idea of how far behind in updates I am edit2: It ~should~ be up to date to this post. Shit you should know 1. I am stupid and have not posted the end date for the current round! The current round will end on Wednesday November 7th @ 11:59 PM EST. I have given an extra day so that way you have extra time to compensate for my lack of updates and the like. 2. I feel as if I may have missed a few scores... If I have please let me know and linking me to it would be extremely helpful. I apologize if I have. 3. The OP now has the correct information within it. 4. SPON CON 2 REPLACEMENT I apologize, but that sponcon was not well thought out and everything is buried. so to replace this I am going to hold a new sponcon in it's place. Prize: 60k (10k per division) The contest: GUESS THE NEXT ROUND'S CHARTS. Rules: 1. All submissions MUST be PMed to me personally. If you post it in the thread you are DQed from the sponcon completely with no hope of actual participation from any future ones either. 2. You are to guess for YOUR division only. Since everyone has the same exact set of hints, this is a relatively fair contest. 3. Each person has six song guesses. Within these six needs to be the songs. 4. Ties will be dealt with in the matter that it will be split evenly among all the winners. Submitting: A list is the way to go here. List by difficulty: EX: 59: chart 1 chart 2 chart 3 60: chart 1 chart 2 chart 3 These are the difficulties of the songs for each division exactly. This means this is not a range to work with but the precise difficulty as listed in game. D1 (30) / (33) D3 (64) / (66) D4 (71) / (71) D5 (80) / (81) D6B (82) / (83) D6A (86) / (85) In the event there are no winners for a division, the prize from that will be split up into the other divisions. The winners will be announced when the next round begins. Last edited by Xx{Midnight}xX; 11-4-2012 at 06:30 PM.. |

Re: Midnight's Jack-The-Ripper Tourney
My best is 7-0-1-0 but I can't really get a score like that anymore it seems. "jumpstream bursts" is one of my strengths as opposed to long relentless jumpstream. The ending is so hard to PA though I almost always have an SDG until the last 100 notes or so.

Re: Midnight's Jack-The-Ripper Tourney
I'm going to work on updating this while I wait for dinner and announce the spon con 2 winners.
While only two divisions had complete winners, if I remember correctly a selected few figured out at least half of the songs. Either way, with the same course as the other rounds of the tourney you get your songs early. Yes it's a Christmas gif in a Halloween tourney. It's like going to any store where you see Christmas shit to early right? D1 R4: FFR Evolution (30) / I Remember When (33) D3 R4: X-Tinction (64) / Choprite (66) D4 R4: Distorted God (71) / Just why (71) D5 R4: The Bird's Poisoned Bathwater (80) / Nomina Nuda Tenemus (81) D6B R4: Lawn Wake II (82) / Saddest RMX (83) D6A R4: Grind2 (86) / Canary Part V (85) I apologize D6B, you get a Dore chart. Round Four ends on Sunday November 11th @11:59PM EST |
