Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
I can't do the D4 chart, even with me being on fire today, lol.
Something about the chart gets me every time. |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
You guys do know that the acceptance requirements for hard songs are lower for tournaments. That's not a secret, right?

The chart really isn't that bad, people just need to spend more time looking for upsides to a file, and not its downsides.

; I absolutely agree with your statement as well. Also, people kinda gotta understand that if every file for every division was equally made to challenge all skills proportionately that it would just be lamely repetitive. A well stepped chart is not always proportioned.

It was accepted and to me that's all it needs. Unless there's a major reason to remove it (copyright, April Fool's stuff, etc.) a file should never be removed once in.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
There was never truly a "tournament batch" to have files seeded from.
Even if there were, Flamingo wasn't part of that group; it was accepted in the April batch. |

Lune Noir tests Handstream. Your chart isn't even the realm realistically. Your chart is a gigantic split fest and nothing more. So explain to me this, because I'm honestly quite sick you people saying this mindless phrase, and pardon my ego: How could I possibly be "mad cause bad" when realistically, I'm a better player than what I'd like to say is a majority of the people who have ever played this game overall. I've managed a solid 7 goods with practice and effort and most people who have touched this game in the site's existence. I’d happily wager most would, more than likely, not get less than 50 goods (or more) on it alone. Stop muttering this phrase. Are you idiots so obscure in your heads that you think that’s funny, or even makes remote amounts of sense? I pity the fact that people probably respect you. People like you disgust me. You’re not funny, you’re not remotely accurate, you were hardly worth the effort I put into typing this post. I know that my opinion shouldn’t define your [pitiful] existence or thoughts of yourself, but you people, yes people, you’re not worth giving a name and merely a generalization, are hopeless morons. Again pardon my ego, but it truly supports state my point. I’m not “mad cause bad.” I’m upset because I think the chart is an obsessive amount of garbage and I have to endure playing it to advance. I’d expect someone to post no less about one of my charts if they were me right now. In fact I hope someone who dislikes it does. I'd certainly like to improve my charting. |

It also carries a few bursts here or there, and their difficulty is relevant since they connect large amounts of jumps together (like 1234{12} [some triple here] [more jumps] [etc]). I didn't ever say that Flamingo tested everything. |

Megamon has the bad luck of having this file out round four of the tournament, where players are pushed, some rather hard, to do well competitively. It's difficult to find any chart appealing after you've played it three hundred times in a week. And when that's coupled with the file being (at least for me) irritating the first two/three plays... edit: and I just played flamingo three times and wow, it's a lot more fun than i remembered it being lol Last edited by MikeShinoda12345; 08-3-2012 at 02:01 AM.. |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Just from personal taste.. D4's song was easily my favorite this round because of how well it went with the song. The hands and jumps really got me into it. Then again, I also like stupid dump files that no one else seems to like so maybe I'm the only one who really enjoyed it.. But I would like to think otherwise

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
"Mad cuz bad" means that the player is mad at the file not necessarily because the song wasn't stepped well, but rather because he/she performs poorly on it. i.e. blaming it on the file rather than taking your own responsibility
