Re: SM Scores
Been testing out higher Cmods lately just for the **** of it... some songs it seems to help but for easier stuff my scores are worse (and I cant go back to under 700 because it feels slow as **** now D=)
First time playing this in like a year C720... Still feels a bit weird but this is like 10 perfs better than my old PR. Pretty sure I can get it down to the 70's though Dunno, 3rd try... this probably isnt that good Second try... liked the PA, cb's and MA is kinda bad I think D= Little bit worse MA than I normally get but a pretty clean run =\

Re: SM Scores
just tried it after reading your post
sightread, i might be able to sdg and get around 5 cbs but that should be on a good run lol and faynt if you keep playing c740 youll eventually adjust, i finally adjusted to c700 (for the most part) but it took me like 2 weeks dont be discouraged |

Re: SM Scores
how does c700++ make your scores better
i play on c650 and the patterns looks just fine to me lol except on insanely hard dumps anything above c650 would screw up my score in all aspects cause i cant read fast notes for sht ps. i've played 750bpm(x5 speed) on o2jam for a while and i never got used to it, i had to turn back to 600bpm(x4), it truly was a waste of time, well for me at least. If you can adjust to it quickly, then good for you

Re: SM Scores
MA'ing becomes somewhat easier after a cmod boost, as long as you can read it that is lol.
Easiest way to improve cmod IMO is raising it 20, playing that a songs on that, then take like 5 or 10 off from that, and it'll look normal. I never raise cmod anymore though. Also, I was looking at rman's thread from a little while back, and it's been making me wonder what's a very accurate way to figure out what your global offset should be. It's been bugging me lately, to the point where I'm pretty sure my offset is off a tiny bit, and I'm really wanting to fix it. Edit: Gilly, it's somewhere in the theme's metrics.ini, look for the gameplay evaluation or something like that, mine's/holds should be in there, though you'll have to figure out the P1X/Y coordinates on your own. Looking at the difference from good to boo/boo to miss should tell you what you need to do to make it show up where it should me. The X-Coord should be the same as the rest of the judgements, the Y should be moved down an equal amount to the difference in the rest of the Y coords. Re: SM Scores
Quote:
i honestly think im at that point where upping cmod will be extremely difficult for me, it took me a week to adjust to c683 and now its taken me more than 2 weeks to adjust to c700, that might not seem like a long time but when you reach the peak of your skills at a certain cmod youre doing really well so when you change you try to adjust to a new cmod and your skills go down its really disheartening, thats why i think no one plays with really high cmods since they arent man enough to stick it out =) ps the only reason to up cmods would be to improve performance on songs that you cant ma otherwise youre just hurting yourself since maing has nothing to do with cmod lol pss i really suck at js so please no one expect good js scores from me lol
