Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
16bitFruit [7,9,7,7,8,8] - I wasn't actually expecting this lol.
Cs Custom Gun Sounds [7,9,9,7,8,8] - Rofl I love how some of the judges thought this was the same song as the song in FFR called Counter Strike Gun Sounds. Both come from the same artist but are both different songs and charts. Glad you liked it ^^ Enchanting Venus [6,7,7,8,7,7] - Well no matter how I step this it seems like almost every judge wants me to make it repetitive and doesn't realise how my appoach on the file was to make it less repetitive. Oh well, I'll see how I can fix this. Shimasen N Bass [7,6,6,2,6,7] - Guess this is just one of those files/songs that I enjoy and no one else does. And Kommi, you don't have a good enough reason to give it a 2. Don't think you realise how I was trying to make the file less repetitive. Thanks for all the reviews guys. Much appreciated!

Wow, I expected to wake up to bitching galore, but it seems very tame in here. Go FFR team~

Sorry, I really didn't think that file was well done, but that's exactly why we have multiple judges. If one judge doesn't like a file for whatever reason, and five others do, then the one judge, in this case, myself, is probably wrong about it. I do stand by my rating, however, but I hope there's no hard feelings about it. n.n Congrats on accepteds~~ |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Lowest and highest ratings are removed anyway (if that makes the avg better) so one judge's rating being too low shouldn't be much of a problem

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Anyone planning on submitting a file for Incident Zero next normal batch?
Wondering if I should bother submitting mine or not

DATA DRAIN - Well, this didn't go very well unfortunately, will definitely have to redo this one for next time. Oh well, live and learn from your mistakes and try again, I guess.
Gargoyle (8/7/7/8/5/7 Average: 7) - Alright, was pretty happy to see the ratings that this file got, I'm glad to see people who liked my creation .

Fine then, I won't redo it, I'll just throw it away.

also, i'll try to get back to everyone who sent me a PM regarding their file. Quote:
Your file's offset was 0.000 when I opened it in DDream. Even though it was in sync, I just mentioned it cause I thought it was weird.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
I already have one done and ready for the next batch, and I made sure it was a good song choice and had lots of effort put into it.
I get it dude, DATA DRAIN was a horrible song choice, I'll admit it.

gnr61:
Destination of the Heart - Really generic. Watch the PR in the intro. The file's basically correct and sort of fun but simply really straightforward and there's a bunch of songs like this already. 6/10 The PR in the beginning = -4 points ?_?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Presumably -3 considering a file needs to be something special to get that awesome 10/10 rating.
also seems like he wasn't diggin your structure, yo |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
if a file is okay but generic etc it's supposed to receive 6 or 7

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Points aren't linear (they shouldn't be). Compare the differences between a 9/10 and 10/10, and then compare the differences between a 6/10 and 7/10.
Getting a 6/10 just means your file is an average file. Make it better.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
I should've used a lot more 6s and 7s then :/ lesson learned though, I'll be somewhat stricter with ratings next time.
