Re: League of Legends
Hecarim -
Abilities: Warpath (Passive) – Hecarim ignores unit collision and gains attack damage equal to a percentage of his bonus movement speed. Rampage – Hecarim cleaves nearby enemies dealing physical damage. Spirit of Dread - Hecarim deals magic damage to nearby enemies for a short duration. Hecarim gains health equal to a percentage of any damage those enemies suffer. Devastating Charge - Hecarim gains increasing movement speed for a short duration. His next attack knocks the target back and deals additional physical damage based on the distance he has traveled since activating the ability. Onslaught of Shadows (Ultimate) - Hecarim summons spectral riders and charges forward, dealing magic damage in a line. Hecarim creates a shockwave when he finishes his charge dealing additional magic damage to nearby enemies causing them to flee in terror. ''This is merely the beginning. No mortal army can withstand the might of the Shadow Isles.'' You're ****ing kidding me, right? Super OP Tinker coming to a League near you. |

Re: League of Legends
Triple posts get
So is this a late April Fools joke or what the **** am I reading? Already another Champ Sneak Peek? "When the world turns its back on you, sometimes you have no choice but to answer with stone-cold revenge. No one knows that better than our newest addition to the League, Varus, the Arrow of Retribution. Wielding a powerful bow consumed by dark magic and an unrelenting thirst for vengeance in his heart, Varus is primed to leave a wasteland of fallen foes in his path. Read on, summoner, but be vigilant; Varus joins the League in an upcoming patch." |

Re: League of Legends
Hecarim sounds really good on paper, but knowing riot, they can still find a way to make him suck. >.>

Re: League of Legends
I don't even know what to build with that...
sorc shoes, lichbane, phantom dancer, force of nature, yomuu's, ...sword of the occult? Maybe more hybrid style with swiftness, rageblade, gunblade, triforce, fon, yomuu's? I can't help but think that passive was just made for abusing yomuu's.

Re: League of Legends
lol I don't see how he's going to be OP in any way
Nautilus sounded ridiculously broken on paper, but in reality he has high early game CDs that balance him. So until I see this guy in-game I can't say if he's broken or not. But he does have some cool abilities, I like that it's all based around his movement |

Re: League of Legends
Newer guy looks cooler, I would've rather they actually made Hecarim a real centaur just cuz the whole theme they're going for with the undead is kinda overused. Newer guy is probably an overused concept as well, but still cooler by far imo lol.
Also, got Rugged Garen and started playing him again, amazed at how many people think champs like Shen and Warwick and Olaf can't hold a candle to him. It's silly, really. Last night I actually outlaned a 2v1 that was Trynd Morg vs me as Garen. Dunno how people can fail to succeed with things like that. |

Re: League of Legends
I would build him with Boots level 3, phantom dancer, maybe an item to make him more tanky like a rylai's or frozen mallet, IE, perhaps some cdr so you can activate his e more often seeing as how his passive will really benefit from it. The last item could be something situational like a banshee's veil if you're losing or a Trinity Force if you've got the gold for it.
Obviously the summoner spell for him is Ghost since you can activate his e also and just nuke them. Ignite would be my second choice to take down those annoying life steal/healing champs. I'd put masteries into the defensive tree to make up for not having merc treads and to have an early tanky game to try and get first blood. EDIT: If you're feeling brave get a tiamats early and use that in conjunction with his q and w to do TONS OF DAMAGE. It seems like you can build him for an aoe cleave or a single target nuke.

Re: League of Legends
This match. Just wow. At one point they grabbed baron and lost a straight up 3v5 fight in mid with no turrets around. It was hilarious. Our Riven was also really drunk and fed the Olaf early on, I don't even know how we pulled that one off.
Basically I'd initiate and pool instantly so all their shit would fizzle and be useless, they never figured it out and lost hard to Wu's damage. |

Re: League of Legends
Varus, the Arrow of Retribution
Living Vengeance (Passive) - (Innate): On champion kill or assist, Varus gains 40% attack speed for 6 seconds. On minion kill, Varus gains 20% attack speed for 3 seconds. Piercing Arrow - (First Cast): Varus starts drawing back his next shot, gradually increasing its range and damage. (Second Cast): Varus fires, dealing physical damage, reduced by 15% per enemy hit (minimum 33%). While preparing to shoot Varus' movement speed is slowed by 20%. After 4 seconds, Piercing Arrow fails but refunds half its mana cost. Blighted Quiver - (Passive): Varus' basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and apply Blight for 6 seconds (stacks 3 times). Varus' other abilities detonate Blight, dealing magic damage equal to a percentage of the target's maximum health per stack (Maximum: 360 total damage vs monsters). Hail of Arrows - (Active): Varus fires a hail of arrows that deals physical damage and desecrates the ground for 4 seconds. Desecrated Ground reduces healing effects by 50% and slows enemy movement speed. Chain of Corruption (Ultimate) - (Active):Varus flings out a tendril of corruption that deals magic damage and immobilizes the first enemy champion hit. The corruption then spreads towards nearby uninfected enemy champions, applying the same damage and immobilize if it reaches them. |
