Also just FINALLY AA'd Cartoon Heroes (42-1)...also got 23 on HVAM.

Going to slowly work toward SDG's on So Deep and HVAM.

I think so anyway. I almost basically have every DDR game at home now (Although I still prefer ITG lol) and I can play whenever I want.

Cool Re: I played DDR for the first time ever today

What you should do shash is save a little arcade money that your parents give you every time you go, so when you are good enough to need a metal pad for home, you can afford one.

AA'd Sync Oni and DDR Oni. 2 9-footers left. Also AA'd PSM Standard...the last 8-footer that I hadn't AA'd.

Think you are ready to take on 11-12 block expert songs on In The Groove Shashakiro? I look forward to seeing your scores on those songs

Oh and don't mind me. I've been playing on pad for about three weeks and I can't pass anything greater than 7 foot/block.

Captain Jack and Paranoia Eternal.

I know I can get them both, too...Cartoon Heroes was the only one I was unsure of, but I got that ><

er...it has a CRAPLOAD of incredibly awkward crossovers at 200 BPM...has a couple jacks, not really very significant though.

My PA is fine on it, I just always get CB's because of the crossover spam.

It's pretty cool to read through your progress.
LOL, from not being able to pass 7 footers to almost AA'ing Max 300.
Quite a transformation.

It's a shame you don't have an ITG machiene anywhere around you. You'd be able to progress to the next level.
Anyways, congrats Shash.

I am actually REALLY surprised that Shashakiro isn't very good at the arcade styles. I mean he's good, but I guess in my mind, I thought he'd be doing at least 11's on ITG. Congrats on that AA on Max 300, err, close to it. Next time you attempt it, try it on your last stage. I remember the first time I got an extra stage, it was with Max 300. I was ecstatic that I didn't do it with some simple one like Love Shine or something. I hope to hear that you AA it soon man.

Cheers.

Well I've been playing basically 7 months with no access to an ITG machine, so it'd be kinda hard to do ITG 11's, considering that I have no way of playing them >< Plus I played the piano for like 8 years before starting FFR, so my fingers were already coordinated and stuff...probably why I got good at it pretty fast.

And I get Extra stage all the time, lol (off of 9's mostly, Waka Laka a couple times too but that's the only 8 I play anymore and I consider it a 9 anyway)...my new practice is to ALWAYS pick Sakura for the extra, it's WAY more fun as an extra than anything else I've tried.

Getting in the 20's for a bunch of 9's...23 HVAM, 27 Orion .78, 20 So Deep, couple others. PA is definitely improving.

EDIT: GAFLBLA WHY CAN'T I AA PARANOIA ETERNAL...I can't even FC it, I ALWAYS get 1 miss somewhere =(

EDIT2: Nevermind, AA'd it =D Only Captain Jack left now...if only this game had a 2.5x speed mod, it'd be so easy =(

I totally understand that. Well, if you're ever in Hawaii, I'll take you to the best spot on Hawaii to play ITG.
Are you very far from the nearest machine?

Do you ever take a break from DDR? Holy **** you progress fast.

You should go buy ITG and try some 11-13 footers. With your DDR skills, you should be able to easily pass some songs

Edit: I am about the same level as you!

By the way, if you have a PlayStation 2, you can get a home version and a pad! Start out at the Ignition pad because you are pretty good, and DDR SuperNova for 130 bucks total, and once you can do 10 footers buy the Colbalt Flux (Similar to those you see in arcades) for I think $200.
Great deal once you have to do pretty fast songs I use that one!

Hey, who said DDR was going to be cheap and non-costly?
