Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
I am really big on Children of Bodom.
So, I would have to say Blooddrunk. I would like to see LoBodomy on here.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Blooddrunk was an awful file, if that's what you're saying.
And there are so many songs by Bodom that are better than LoBodomy, it's just that we don't have permission to use any of the older stuff, so what you see is what you get: a dumpy Rebirth dump. |

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Would be really neat to be honest. There are some really fun sims out there, and a lot of people would dig on a few being in FFR.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Even with the hands and quads Blooddrunk is by far one of the funner files here. Compared to some of the songs I played today, quite a few of them i had this WTF look on my face. A few of them were: Air Breeze, Frozen Fire, DT Rabbit Blood Festival (I almost failed out because i was bored.), Prison Break and Frozen Rain.
Some of the songs i played i think are higher difficulties then it claims: Seagull: seams to be the next difficulty up being with so much jumps and all. Seed: Just was to difficult in my opinion to be an "Easy" level song. File i Enjoyed: Fight Through The Forest. The rest of them were like meh. |

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
i have no idea the reference that hi19 is making. some of us venture into the real world... and call friends/associates "boys". i actually talk like that on a regular basis.
and oh yes... the life card has been played. and oh yes... i am laughing at myself as i type this.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Hardkore Atomic: There are parts of this file that are stepped well, and others that are very awkward IMO.
-The jack part around 350-400 combo with jumps to the off beat is insanely awkward and should have been done differently -The 48th burst sections have incredibly awkward patterns. 23412 and the like are not patterns that should basically ever be used for such bursts--they seem "logical" but play horribly. -What in the WORLD is going on right before the ending, in the part with a cyan jump? Whatever's in the music, that part is confusing, awkward, and just pretty damn unfun. Overall it's decent, some of the easier sections are quite fun and a few of the jack parts are well-done, despite the above concerns.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
48ths jump?? i don't recall having that D=.
No 48th jump in the file, it's just FFR's horrible frame rate making a 24th and 48th note incredibly close, causing it to act like a jump. The 48th bursts where just back and forth rolls like 12341 43214 12341 43214, but JX wanted the file harder, so I made them a little bit more awkward >< No 48th jump, just FFR at it's best.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
oh ok, it's just FFR's fault then for the jumps, not yours, haha.
Others: Lover Reef: Meh, pretty generic and forgettable Infinity 301: Fun I guess, but also forgettable Gacha Gacha whatever: Steps are fun but god damn these songs are getting annoying seriously. This applies to both btw.

Atomic Hardkore: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...54#post2387754 (My only post in that thread) Nah, Its stepped about right. Its a very linear song and for a gabba song, its not really a dump. People just have to understand the gabba genera. In stepfile theory, Terrocore gabba mainly consists of jumps, rolls and jacks. Thats just how Terrocore Gabba is. A lot of the rythms of terrorcore are very gallop like and very off rythm which makes it even more chaotic than people percive it. Also note. Happy Hardcore (Brisk, Ham etc) =/ Hardcore Gabba (Ophidian, Omar Santana, Dj Promo etc....) One very interesting misconception that I find on this site a lot. |

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Wait, is Atomic Hardkore supposed to be a hard jack song or something? FFR players need more practice with jacks >.>
