I am having the same issue. Well, I am noticing in editor mode when I hit quads, they might turn into staircases... if ANYONE else is having the same issue let me know. I hope im not the only one.

Ugh, the timing works differently if you increase the framerate and I find this very annoying to the point where I'm going to have to use a lower framerate if I play a very hard song in the tourney.
Here's how it works: In 30 fps, if you push a button where it could hit 2 arrows, it'll give you a perfect if one of them in in the perfect window, and if not, it'll seemingly still hit the closest one at least, with late winning the tiebreaker. In 120 fps, it always hits the latest note that's within the window that can currently be hit, so by playing really hard songs way get far more goods and far fewer perfects. An advantage in trying to get combo but a disadvantage in terms of raw score. The difference should be an option available in any fps or just returned back to making it all work how it did in 30 fps before.

Just tested this Doug, you're right. How did no one notice this until now..
(This shouldn't be a raw score advantage, since a 2 goods are better than a perfect and a miss, but still there shouldn't be any differences between 60fps and 30fps)

But if you mash vrofl, you get just piles of goods instead of piles of perfects, and you only hit a few more notes. So if the song is too much too fast for you, it is a disadvantage.

Minor update just in time for the tourny, I wanted to get the mp mask option in. There are also a few minor changes that don't really merit any mention so yeah... Now sleep and hopefully I'll be up in time :/

Sweet thanks a lot, it does appear to be fixed now. The previous problem I mentioned is still there though. I know I didn't give a good description of it. Here's a better one. It seems that on certain songs, seemingly only on ones that start rather quickly, with increase fps, the notes don't move at the right rate near the beginning. And it's a bigger problem the higher the fps. Here's an example of it:

So in this case, clicking where the arrow points does not select the mp window. it clicks on the 'main' button behind it. so in a sense i guess the mp windows are transparent...

^ In relation to this, if you put the window completely on the buttons behind it, you become unable to move the window, forcing one to close the client and re-open it. It happened to me like 4 times today haha

suggestion: you know how on the results window, you can click stepartist or song artist and it brings you to the page?
would it be possible when you click on song name to be brought to that song's lvl page? i find i often would like a quick link like that

Hm not a bad idea, I can certainly do that. May I ask why exactly you would like to visit the page? Is there some info you feel is missing from the results screen? (well, besides highscore list since there's a button for that but it just doesn't do anything yet)

I think he means if you can just link to that page you wouldn't need the other links in the results page.
Or maybe just the auto bot play-through. Don't have that in engine...yet.

In regards to the multiplayer being 'redone' and whatnot... make the size for each window resizable? >.> It would be nice to read everything at once without multiple clients / moving things around.
(Pssst...) Also put in a feature where you can search by Simfile Author / Song Author. I'd love to one day search all Bmah or all Hi19 files or something and do a playlist of only their files or something. -shrug-
