Eh, I agree with these changes. I honestly think Lawn Wake should still be an FMO, but pretty much everyone disagrees with that. All of those songs (Except Lawn Wake in my opinion) were easier than For FFR like kmay said. They're fine being VC. Choprite should also be a VC along with Novo Mundo in my opinion.
Hm, on another thought, I saw a post by someone (I forgot, maybe mhss, stavie? 0? Maybe, I forgot), but maybe we should make another difficult where all these would go. Just a thought, definitely would need expanding on. |

But there are so many VCs that are harder than all of these songs.
I'm not sure about Southern Cross... I kinda suck at it. Disconnected Hardkore should be VC. There are no FMO patterns in it, even Illumination in the Sky is harder than it IMO It was Stavie, I think. I don't think that there should be another difficulty... The difficulty interval would be a bit small. If we add more and more difficulties, it will be even harder to put the songs in them, I think.

yes that could work. you could divide FMOs into 2 groups. 1st group will be NWE and SC ending with FFLBF. 2nd group ranging from Piano Etudes, Big Blue to stuff like FN, Lolo and Pants. anything much harder will be FGO (or 13). and yeh i really don't like SC and K8 being VC. dot death is still a VC!

there is no way southern cross should be a VC. i don't think there is any other song in the VCs that have jumpstream at that fast a pace

There should be a difficulty between 10 and 11 for stuffs like VC files containing hands, FMOs that don't give [oni] anymore, etc

Can we bump Fei Longer up to VC? I'm comparing it with Starlight here; they are very similar (not too fast overall, long 16th jacks, similar length). Starlight's 3 months older but they've both been out for since late 2008 so that shouldn't make too much of a difference.
Starlight: 152 AAA's, need 1-0-0-4 or better to get top 200. Fei Longer: 76 AAA's, need 6-1-0-1 or better to get top 200. This looks like Fei Longer is objectively harder than Starlight. (My score on Fei has twice as many goods as my score on Starlight, but has a rank that's ~150 lower.) Given the top 200 scores I think it would make more sense to move Fei up than to move Starlight down.

the thing's only got 36 AAAs (probably less because I spot a few potential hackers) and it's been out for more than a year and a half plus, the last 500 notes (the last 100 especially) are hard as **** to PA I vote for lowest 80 |

No way, I disagree. I even think Hajnal should be lowered. It's easier than Going On Spring Wind in my opinion, Hajnal really isn't that hard. There is NO way it's harder than Strangeprogram, Rottel-Da-Station, Flight of the Bumblebee, and AIM Anthem.

Hajnal is relatively easy to FC, just kinda hard to PA/AAA because of the colored notes and numerous rolls. Personally I think it's significantly easier than Strangeprogram, FotBB, and AIM (but those three songs become easier if you use index/one-handed, whereas Hajnal almost forces you to use spread).
