in a normal game (in the old days) you were told, but it's always host's discretion.

the obvious discussion point here is whether or not it was dbp that was attacked, or if dbp had the guardian (or the guardian acting independently) decided to fake out the guardian and guard someone else.

the unobvious discussion point is if this means the x1 wolves will now want to kill dbp sooner rather than later.

edit: substitute "wolves" for "guardian" where I messed up there in my obvious thingie.

If the person guarded knows he was guarded, then coming out is bad. Go to disco if your circumstances make it advantageous.

But if anyone comes out publicly, do nothing except flame him for being power hungry.

this would be too ****ed up to be true, but I would give dbp at least 10 balls points if he is a wolf in x2, straight up got away with the fake yesterday, and then wolfed himself to get the guard to come to him.

@ D2 guard: Feel free not to come to me, I only need you to guard me. In the event that you do come to me, at least wait until everyone posts so you know I'm legit. If you do come to me, we can talk abou guarding me/not guarding me, pre-empting the wolves with the kill tomorrow, the usual.

Guard came to me shortly after my initial post, and I told them to guard me at all costs. (The plan was to try to activate the shield.)

Unless I'm not really in contact with the guardian, it worked.
Note to guardian: If you're in contact with me, great. If not, there's a wolf pretending to be you, and you'd best come out to me.

Seriously WTF. If this is the example you want to set for us jtwgers I'm going to go back down to jtwg. this ****ing sucks. We had chats every night. We actually IMed each other. WE GENUINELY CARE ABOUT THE FREAKING GAME. If the only thing you guys are good at is being inactive then quit the game and move aside. There are people who care about the game who actually want to win.

DBP, who was seered? or what color. we don't need both, but we need some type of info to go on. If you're all gonna be inactive then Lynch me next. I don't want to be part of something nobody cares about.

Manti summed it up pretty well. The part I would like to highlight is the part about us jTWGers.

I have only recieved IMs from Fiction, Flaw, and Manti. We came to this game expecting a much more heated and competitive game, but so far, it has been like when starbucks gives you lukewarm coffee instead of hot coffee.

I really had a lot higher expectations for the activity in this game. I figured that everyone who signed up would be active, but instead people who would have actually been active were kicked out to make room for a whole bunch of inactive retards.

Please let me know if this is what TWG is always like, because this is ****ing crap. I would much rather be playing a game with the jTWGers than being apart of this inactive trainwreck of a game. They actually care about the game. This has been total bull**** thus far.

The only people online are Manti, Rioting (is away, but not idle), Stoic (who is definately at his computer), and the list ends there. Unless Mead successfully replaced Iggy.
But Christ, why would I get an answer for that..? It's probably posted somewhere I can't see.

Thunderstrike's looking at the thread, maybe I don't have him on AIM.

But either way. Does this mean some of these people are wolves?

Or just random people online for other reasons?
Really, why doesn't anyone bother?

Posting on the forum isn't the only way to go. Talking on AIM and trying to figure things out probably is a little closer to the point of the game.

k lets get the ball rolling, does anyone have any GOOD ideas why the wolves attacked the person the guardian was guarding. Lets ASSUME it was DBP, reasons why they would

Its assumed that the guardian protects the seer, so the guard can get away with protecting someone else. However who would the guardian protect other than the seer? For what reason would the wolves try to kill the seer, why would they think the guard ISN'T guarding the seer??? manti stated already that they might have been going on fictions post.

I can't help shaking the feeling that something is up, this is far too strange for my taste to think something isn't up. Either the wolves read DBPs post about the second dim having an advantage of extra kills, and felt they could risk a shot at the seer despite there being no reason for the guardian to not guard the seer. DBP hasn't had a chance to seer a human, and that information wouldn't be available to anyone any way...so the guard would REALLY have no reason to guard anyone else...

I don't see how epic D1 posting numbers = total BS, but I do agree that 22 hours without a post is quite upsetting. Here's the deal though, crying about TWGers vs jTWGers and how often they post doesn't add to the info on the game. As you can see, I'm typing a bit a stuff right now, that isn't adding to the game, and it's quite easy. I could sit here and analyze/whine all day and maybe you'd see it as "good post", when in reality, it clearly isn't. So if you want to help, feel free to add something to the game, otherwise, you're still one of the people that's been putting this game off, just like the rest of us. Just because you complained about it first doesn't make you innocent.

Now if you were to say something like Thunder laid a pretty heavy post against talisman, who's acting much like his normal green self by my observations, only to later make a pretty unneeded bandwagon vote against fiction, that would be something else, now wouldn't it?

Not to mention one of his only posts before talisman elicited a response from yim was alll the way back on page 3 and looked something like:

I think it is a little too early to be making this much analysis about DBP, especially since next to nothing is going on thus far. I think we should all sit down and play pokemon or something and see what happens.

I think he's flying under the radar and keeping well in agreeance with people for a reason. Discuss.

P.S. Do keep in mind that it's much easier to sit back and wait for someone to talk to you than it is to be the one starting the conversations.

P.P.S. In no way was that supposed to imply I'm innocent, for those confused. I'm currently working on a large CS project and will be until I turn it in on Thursday, so I have and will be mainly trolling in any free second I get, but I will respond to you IMs should you care to take the initiative.
