15 minutes until the Pens tie the series at 3 a piece. Can't wait!

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
Me too, only because the TSN analysts picked them and Pittsburgh in the final lmao.
So glad Pitts is gone, and so glad about the WAY they went: The most over-worshiped player of all time was a non-factor. If Boston loses this game, I have no idea who the hell else is going to stop Philly. |

How on Earth are Ottawa and Washington beating New York and Boston?
I have no idea how they're doing this but I support this 100000000000%

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
I missed the entire game but it was for the best, Pittsburgh didn't show up at all and blew it. Oh well, Flyers out next round!

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
I find it puzzling that a team that's solidly 75% plugs isn't considered the underdog. Crosby, Malkin, Letang, and Fleury populate a list of Penguins anyone outside Pennsylvania knows the names of. You'd think with such a threadbare roster and two straight first round bounces, the hysteria would level off a bit.
Edit: OKAY, and Staal. |

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
So much Philly hate. I would understand it more if Pittsburgh played with a shred of integrity and dignity.
EDIT: Philly is better than Florida, Washington, and Ottawa, so I don't see how anyone thinks Philly is going to lose to any of them.

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
I agree. It's not that I don't think Philly CAN lose to any of them, but it's the low odds bet for sure. I think they'll steamroll anyone but Boston.

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
7 winners in the Spon Con (including myself), and 3 more teams have been eliminated!
The 2nd ranked St. Louis Blues pick up a surprising 3-1 victory to trounce the Sharks in 5 games. The record for picks is: 22-8! Much better than Detroit-Nashville. In the battle of Pennsylvania, the favoured black and yellow fall to the orange of the Flyers as Philadelphia closes out the series at home to finish of the Penguins in 6. The record for picks is: 9-21! Not a lot of hope for Philly, but still a decent amount. Finally, the President's Trophy winners get knocked out in OT thanks to Jarret Stoll and the Kings in 5 games. LA plays St. Louis in round 2. The record for picks is: 1-29! Yeah.. that 1? Random guess. And biased fan here, but missed call just before the goal... |
