I was lazy because there seems to be no acticity here.
And I vote for Flypie. Which means: Round 6 Winner: flypie743 - Vegetable Valley Remix! Next round is sometime next week. Hint: Its going to be a remix of a song that is the "true essence" of DDR. |

Yes, Snapps, tell what the next round is. I think I heard from someone what it is, but I don't want to work on it until it's official. Plus, I need some motivation to work in FL to get back into it. I've done a little since having been grounded, but I want more experience.

I want more people to do this. I don't want just 4 people, it isnt fun. I'm giving it a break because I don't think we have enough people to really have this going.
Yes Afrobean that is going to be the next one. I'm going to wait until around the end of December. That way since there is a few days off, maybe someone can have a chance to do something with FL. |

How about mid December? I get out of school around the 20th, and I'm sure others do to.
PS how is it that Flypie's won? All she did was change instruments on a MIDI. I made an original beat, had BPM changes, and vocals. In addition the other ones were much better in my opinion too.

Ya know, because Snapps has that kind of money. And Afrobean, we can do 1 on 1 contests between you and me to get better (like the Mario thing or Claps Only, hehe) and practice in the meantime.

Wait wait who said I can give out xbox's.
This isnt a big enough competition to do so. If this was an FFR type of tournament with TONS (like 15 or so) of people involved with it, then yes I would. But this isnt a big thing. You never know if I can get a better set of rules and have staff help we can do such a thing. In the meantime just play around with FL, you never know what you'll find when you mess around with it. |

who wants an Xbox anyway? PS2 is where it's at.
Maybe we can get Synth to endorse this. You know, get a news post about it and all. Then again, we'd probably just get all kinds of newbs asking where to get FL, and not much more serious competitors.

WHOA MY GOSH, IT'S PARANOiA!!!
Round 6
PARANOiA Here are a couple sites with DDR MIDIs, including PARANOiA: http://www.thelegendofmax.com/ddr/midis/ http://jp.y42.briefcase.yahoo.co.jp/...view=l&.view=l Tasks List: Song must consist of the following Instruments: Any Instruments, but make it sound like PARANOiA! Song must consist of the following Vocals: There must be some vocals, preferably the standard PARANOiA sayings like "ELECTRIC!" and "Feel so good!" Song must consist of the following Time 1:30-2:50 Snapps is going to Las Vegas, so he told me to post this round. His idea was to have you all remix PARANOiA. It'll be a challenge to get that PARANOiA sound, but it'll be interesting to see what turns up. It needs to sound like PARANOiA and be awesome to win. And don't forget some PARANOiA vocals! Good luck all. The deadline for Round 6 remixing is January 1st (oughta give you all enough time). If you are going to be in Round 6 please post so. If you need to reach me about this contest, my AIM screenname is evilbutterfly87.

um, its an acquired taste. i hope that other people participated in this contest, as it doesnt seem like anyone else posted. ive worked hard on this, especially at filtering out the sounds, despite how they sound. BPM 200, if anyone cares. |
