Must have played this song 50 times and still can't AAA. Ah well, I'll have to work on PA at some point in this tourny...

A pros vs. Joes type thing, almost. The best of FFR Vs The.. Not best. You get six divisions. Except this time the divisions are on a team. D3 Needs to index it. With their pinkies. Blind folded. D2 Needs to one hand it. And D1 gets to play however they want. You add up everybody in the divisions score from the round. Whichever division loses, the lowest scoring player gets kicked out.. Or perhaps Then they do an elimination round within their division, still with a handicap proper to their division. When only one division is left the prize is split equally among the players. Ho humm.. I like. Me gusta. Back on topic: Last edited by NickGallagher7; 12-18-2011 at 11:44 AM.. Reason: Picture was freakin huge. |

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Not bad, the issue I see though is you can't very well place players on handicaps. Or at least, it's much more challenging. And you wouldn't be able to separate divisions by play-type. Because one person may be much better at one style of playing than someone else.
And I'm pretty sure that idea's been done before. xP |

Can't believe somebody beat me to it :P. Oh well. Just a thought. Thanks again for running this tournament ! I really love the tournaments after being in the official, and they really push me to get better, but it's difficult to find noob friendly ones sometimes. |

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Anybody else having trouble loading Greensleeves? It gets to 96% and stops loading, which is weird because other songs load.

Plus you wouldn't be able to prove if the person played the style that they were told to. :/

Unless.. Live rounds on skype or oovoo. That alone would be an interesting concept for a tournament. Sightread tournament. But again, far too much trouble. Oh well. It never hurt to brainstor, |

I'm not liking how they're AAAs already on a synth song. I'll see what I can do.

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
D4 will hate me very shortly though, don't worry. :P
There are a few weeds that need taken care of, so as customary of most tournaments, round 1 will be an AAA fest. And it's the ONLY bluenote syndrome file I selected. ~Updated to here. Last edited by ScarletSky; 12-18-2011 at 02:58 PM.. |

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
NO hating on Beethoven Virus. Not allowed.
I have no idea why it's even in Legacy other than the note colors- it's more on sync than many other charts (lol TGWP for example) and remains one of the most fun files in FFR in my opinion. p.s. it's also not by Synth p.p.s. you can AAA it lmao I know you can :P

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Didn't screenshot the first one so I had to for it again. I swear if I didn't have the patience to whore every song that's thrown at me, I'd be going absolutely nowhere in any of the tournaments. Whoring is purely the reason why I survive. 86 plays in a row >=/
