Nice Tass, Bot Arena is easy, but it's just so damn hard to give it an attempt since the game sucks so badly. Hopefully Rubix's new MM guide will make the Miseria Imp better, and Tarnation is stupid. Kongai, also stupid.

rubix has been saying he'd make a MM guide for a year now. i'm not holding my breath. bot arena sucks massive cock. and i've come so close a bunch of times on it... it's just challenge 4. but the controls are beyond awful.

tarnation, MM, and kongai... haven't tried on any of them, really. at least, tar/mm not in about a year for either. kongai... i'll only try for if it's my last badge.

Tarnation is also one of the worst games with badges and finding motivation to play it is hard at the best of times :P

when tarnation first came out, i spent 3-4 days trying for that imp badge. i got 98,xxx with out restarts. and i got 101,xxx with 1 restart. so i definitely know that i CAN do it...

but, by the same token, i pretty much had rubix's guide memorized by the end of those attempts and still couldn't pull it off. i still have the guide, but i don't have it memorized. i'll try for it, sure, but it's going to take some work.

and i'll get bot arena chal4 eventually too. it's the MM and Kongai that i'm dreading. tarnation too, really.

dont run out of herbs. if out of herbs, nectar, heal to 100, continue, repeat as

necessary. note I assume you are out of herbs at this point, if not you should

probably use them later when nectar is mentioned before using a nectar. The game

Above guide failed for me at Wave 39 where you use Awareness. Seems like such a luck-dependent strategy :/

No MM guide will work 100% of the time. Sometimes bad luck will own you, either way. Like, the impact of a bad run is quite substantial. If you expect, on average, to kill an enemy in two hits, but you happen to deal subaverage damage both times, that means you're not only going to receive another attack from that enemy, but you must also heal to account for the damage done AND the damage that will be performed AGAIN after healing by the enemy you didn't kill. In other words, bad luck can really, really suck when it comes to item conservation. At the end of it all, you may just not have enough items to win. On some levels, bad luck can kill you even if you make your strategy as safe as you can possibly make it.

I guess what I am saying is that yes, you *do* need luck to be on your side to beat Battle Mode. However, my point is that it shouldn't take too many tries for this to happen, given an effective strategy.

Am I the only one that absolutely hates Flash RPGs? Every single one I play has a terrible plot, terrible controls, and is just pure repetition.

mardek 1/2 are probably the best flash RPG games. imo. i'm curious how 3 will stack up... and just how insanely long it will be. mardek 1 is not long. mardek 2 is longer than my cock, but at least it is still somewhat interesting and entertaining.

it's not like the FF games aren't insanely long and repetitive either. most RPGs are repetitive. sonny is hard to really classify as an RPG, as there are no quests, no puzzles to figure out or solve, no "what the hell am i supposed to do now" moments. it's all very straightforward and 100% linear... it's a pure fighting RPG, which to me isn't an RPG. yes it has EXP and leveling systems with point distribution and skills to level, but it lacks the fun qualities of RPGs. you have to think of it as a fighting game.

max mesiria 1/2 are also pretty fun RPGs. minus battle mode.
