Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
Bored so I participated despite losing.
First try, really messed up the sloped terrain holes. I might play again but if not then I'll give 100 credits for all that have a better score then this.

Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
hole in 1 on 8 and 17 is possible. but definitely not in 1 try. i've holed 8 in 1 3 or 4 times now. i've yet to get 17, but i know it's possible.
an 18 is definitely possible. it just isn't easy. and requires thinking outside of the box.

Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
Tasselfoot: I've found out some nifty reference points for every single hole, and every single hole is 1-hole-able every single time (I use your reference trick for Hole 6, for example). 8 and 17 are hard but you can actually reason out a good solution and then fine-tune it from there until you get a play that works, and then just memorize how and where you do it.
Maybe I'll do a screen recording of a perfect 18 play? Would anyone be interested in this?

Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
exactly rubix. i have one memorized for 17 of the holes. all but 17. and, really, i'd figure one out for 17 too.... except for the fact that i have to play 16 holes just to get to it, only to screw it up 20 times in the process of figuring it out.

Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
Very nice, MrRubix. I watched the video, then tried to replicate it for myself. Here's my result after one try:
My aim and timing's a bit off for some of them (read: windmill). It's up to the organisers if they want to accept this score, since I basically followed the video. If not, I'll happily make do with 30. |

Perfect Score
Finally! I whored this game since like 11 o' clock with a vid showing how to do all holes in one and finally got it!!! but it's so frickin hard! Anyways, I'm never playing that game again.
I don't put Image Code because I don't like page stretching. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...SGMiniputt.jpg |

Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
Shake your fist at him and move on?
The video was up for 6 hours, two people claim to have watched it before entering their scores. The potentially jerky way to handle it is go "You guys should have figured that viewing his video would disqualify you" and either DQ them, or use a previously posted score. The less jerky way would be to go "Man Rubix, think first" but let the scores go. |

Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
That's why I actively distinguished between my runs with and without the vid. That way, if my 23 isn't allowed, then ignore it and use my 30 instead. Obviously, I won't be submitting any more scores this round.
As a side note, there are other videos out there. If someone were really determined to do so, they could easily find such a video for reference purposes. Whether or not that makes either my 23 or gabgabo's 18 acceptable is up to the tourney organisers. |

Re: House's Arcade Madness Tournament!
My apologies, I was very ignorant and didn't really pay attention and notice that this was a tournament.
My new video is pretty tight though New record, double click action
