![]() ![]() I definitely can AAA higher than this but I wanted to post a score on here just to get it on the board. (Despite my 12+ restarts/attempts) Maybe in the future, (a few days) I will get a higher score this round. Anyways, I sure have wished there was more competition in my division, but I had a lot of fun throughout the entire tournament playing this, so thank you! |

![]() Safe to say this is probably my last submission for this tourney. Thanks for hosting Ben and Xel, had a lot of fun. And thanks for competing Kawaii!

![]() Umm yeah I give up, got a 3-0-0-0 on 1X and lowering the rate is only making it harder to AAA. I doubt it will be any different with Replicator. But anyway, thanks to our hosts and my fellow D5's for being great competitors (although let's be real, I wasn't much competition lmao), it was still fun and the tourney nabbed me a few new AAA's which was a nice bonus

![]() Ok, here's a last round entry. This song messes with me so much. I was pushing for a 1x score, but a couple dozen little screwups is enough for me to come back to the song at a different time.

![]() I'm gonna check through the final round's scores later tonight and prizes will be distributed after Benguin and I touch base to determine distribution, and how we wanna handle participation prizes.
It's gonna be a bit because some extra IRL stuff has come up, but I will update you all within two to three days with a minimum of a status update, I'm hoping with distribution details. Should I fail to deliver on the status update for ANY reason: I formally request a moderator ban me post prize distribution for a month or more, your discretion. But I'd like to speculate distribution will happen regardless of anything within the week. Thanks to everyone who submitted / donated. I'd like to say this is not one of the finest tourneys I've ran / assisted running, and I'm very sorry about that. Many mistakes were made on our end as hosts, and should I run another tourney, I will remedy all of them. Thanks for the patience, and again, I'm sorry, both for the not as great hosting I feel you all deserve from me personally, and for the delay in prize distribution. |

![]() Thanks for bearing with us guys! I hope those that participated in the tournament had somewhat of a good time
![]() A large issue with the tourney I believe was trying to garner enough participation. I think the idea of having to AAA a file just in order to submit was a bit intimidating/annoying for some. I think the next time I do a rates tourney, I'm going to try to create a scoring system that both incorporates rates and allows for non-AAA scores to be submitted. If you had anything you liked or didn't like about the tournament please let us know ![]() Anyways, as for credit distributions, due to the lack of participation, I decided that most of the credits will go to participation instead of placements since it would be ridiculous to receive a huge amount of credits for getting first place while only playing two rounds for example. The distributions are below: Quote:

Very much this. I tried to use the feedback of the participants to make better song choices (namely: shorter ones) and I hope I did a decent job. Rates are very much something I'm not overly familiar with because for a while and even a bit now I kinda don't actually like them that much. But this tourney actually kinda gave me some stuff to think about.

Two things I didn't like are among the obvious though, lack of participation, and lack of updates in the end of the rounds! However, this time of year, people are really busy, so I understand! (If there were another, it would be that the credit pool could be bigger, but that's purely in the generosity of the players) Great job nonetheless, when will the credits be sent out?

![]() Thanks for the tourney guys.
If I had to give constructive criticism, I thought that the songs for round 1 should have been used about mid-way through the tourney. I wasn't a huge fan of trying to AAA songs in later rounds that I couldn't even do on 1x rate and I guess that's why I lost motivation to play. But other than that, I thought everything else was handled well and I look forward to future tourneys. Thanks again guys ![]()

Also thanks for the criticism. ^_^ Credits should be getting passed out sometime very soon. Benguin has posted the distributions, and I've sent him the donation pool so that prizes can be distributed, so that should be done within the next day or two or so. ^_^ |
