Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
Basically if sync and layering was good and if the file was interesting enough, it got a pass from me, lol. I don't have it in me to be all STRiCT and eLiTiST anymore.

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
Niala said he had 14 left to do and had less than 50% acceptance rate

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
This is exactly how I feel now. I really grew tired of that strictness and elitism crap which explains why I was so lenient during the last FFR batch. I believe that everyone steps good files in their own way.

On another note I kinda don't like the final hour now after the changes I had to make to it. It doesn't feel like it flows as nice. :/ |

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I hope more people take a more lenient view to how songs 'should' be stepped. I have a fair amount sitting around ready for upcoming the upcoming batches, just skeptical as to how they will be taken. Thanks to the guys at DF I got mad reviews on a file that was turned down here, suppose only time will tell though

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
2 Judges finished, and 21 files got 10/10 rating (5/5 from 2 judges).
Around 30 files out of 53 will be accepted, probably. |

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I'll hopefully get to these files later today. I still have quite a bit to do, but I can handle it, haha. I will note that my acceptance rate will probably be a bit lower, though. If I know myself well, I'll be around the 50% area.

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
I know you need 17/20 to pass, but what's the bare minimum you need to pass (In terms of how little each judge can give you while still passing.)?
EDIT: Psychoangel, I personally love the Final Hour. It's a great file, matched with a great song!

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
Actually, the requirements change from batch to batch, it seems. It was 17/20 in one batch, but may be different in others...

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
The lowest you can get from one judge, while still passing, is a 2.
5/5/5/2. (This has happened to me. XD) EDIT: Or in general. Idunno, I'd assume 17/20 as well. And then borderline at 16, but that requires another sub-vote. |

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
Or you could get 5+/5/5/1 like Dossar. (lolol)

Re: Easy Song Special Batch - Submission Open
It shouldn't be 17/20 to pass - it should be a minimum of 16, and this 16/20 should only pass if it gets 4 [+.] ratings (all judges light accept = consistency?). Otherwise, it should be borderline.
Anyway, I'm going to get back to my judging; Niala is probably much closer to complete than I am, but I'll try to get it finished by the end of the evening. EDIT: random note: out of 20 files so far, I have 11 accepts Last edited by TC_Halogen; 06-9-2011 at 03:26 PM.. |
