Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation.

I still haven't beat it. :P I'm on like...Episode 34...can't beat the boss. :/

Breath of Fire 1 for the snes. I was a noob at RPGs back then, and was pretty young when playing it. I had handled other games like final fantasy 2 and 3 but this one gave me a lot more trouble. I got stuck multiple times in the game, especially in that bloody rotating maze and had trouble beating bosses because I didn't seem to have much of a grasp on the dragon/magic system at the time >_> Probably spent over 200 hours.

Game I had the longest time on: FFX - 742 hours, FFVIII - 2749.
Game that took me longest to beat: La Pucelle Tactics - 84 hours.

Longest to beat the game: Tales of the Abyss (50 hours)
Longest to 100% complete the game: Kingdom Hearts (100+ hours)
Longest to fail to beat the game: DDR Extreme (beating = seeing end credits = AA LoM Extra Stage = lol, don't know hours spent but it's a lot)
Longest to fail to 100% complete the game: Tales of Symphonia (324 hours)
Greatest amount of time put into a game: FLASH FLASH REVOLUTION (1000+ hours is probably not an exaggeration).
Greatest amount of time put into a commercial game: Tales of Symphonia (324 hours)

Star Ocean Till the End of Time
125 hours plus to get 100%
(had to start over because skipped some side quests first time)
Boss Freya is Kick ass hard and had to get to level 190 to beat them

I've easily put 300+ into sidequesting and maxing FF7. Over 120 on FF9, sidequesting Ozma and maxing. I don't recall how long it took me to 100% KH but I don't think it took me over 100 hours, especially maxing with Ice Titan. First run through of OoT around 50 hours. Hot Shots Golf Fore, to get everything I think around 40 hours.

the only three games i've beaten are: Paper Mario (took about two months to beat and now i'm trying to maxout my stats), Mario Kart: Double Dash!!!(At least five months) and the longest was Star Fox Adventures (about almost a year because of one final puzzle where you have take out the fire in the certain color and the platform was rotating and it was times for about a minute!!!!)

The game that I have played for the longest is World of Warcraft (I won't say how much because it's embarassing, but well over 3000 hours). But since this thread says longest to BEAT I would have to say Dragon Quest VII. Took me about 72 hours to beat it.

It took me about 57 hours to complete all 4 of the original .hack games (but that'd be about 14 hours per game). GTA San Andreas took me about 50 hours to beat for the first time, 3 years ago
