Re: FFR Suggestions
Being able to customize each note separately with a specific color feels like it could help visually.
e.g; Using a RGB scroll for each note and/or using HEX values like in profile. The point of being able to modify each note would be to let the file keep it's color note logic while being able to use different colors. I'm a little color blind and that would be greatly appreciated visually. Last edited by Sorie; 08-3-2014 at 11:49 AM.. |

Re: FFR Suggestions
I think this may be in the future of the R^3 engine, and not far off. I've seen dev things in the past proving it's done in some regard, waiting for implementation, if they choose to implement it.

I think that a "traditional gaming" sub-forum would be great!

Re: FFR Suggestions
Random colors. This can change every note to one of the 9 colors used for the notes no matter what rhythm that note is in. Example: 4th can be purple, 8th can be green, another 4th can be yellow, etc. And jumps/hands/quads might have different colors too.
Also, a mod that lets you change every note to the same color (can be any of the 9 colors available), and a custom column color mode (you can choose a different color for each column). Also will the SM noteskin from the Velocity engine come back to R^3? |

Re: FFR Suggestions
I would go for this, even if it was for only one day a week.

Re: FFR Suggestions
When I use a queue in R^3, the fact that it moves from one song to the next without a pause is kind of annoying: for score-checking and because it will cause a lag spike in the beginning of the next song (usually resulting in a miss or two). I'm guessing this is because of score sending, or maybe finalizing the song load?
Also, once you start a queue there's no way out of it without skipping through all of the songs in the list, and if your 'unplayed' queue is 33 hours like mine... not cool. (I just found out that if you right-click and go to show menu, you can get out of the queue by clicking on 'editor' and then closing it out... although sometimes the song audio will glitch) |

Re: FFR Suggestions
This might have been brought before, but is there a way to implement a "like/dislike" button on forum posts like we have for the Video Database? With the amount of active moderators on FFR, I don't see why this wouldn't get out of hand at all.

Re: FFR Suggestions
Lol. I know the concept is derived from Facebook, but I think it'd be pretty neat. Plus, some people may not feel as though their post are being ignored. Everyone is a winner.

Re: FFR Suggestions
My Suggestion is about the new side bar -
Latest Events: Registration Open: Red and Zenith's Timebomb Tournament Concluded: Zenith's Arrows to Music Tournament! In Progress: 2nd Official FFR StepCon! The RPG Tournament Shouldn't the concluded be at the bottom, and the in progress be in the middle? |

Re: FFR Suggestions
Requesting a "fail off" option so I can warm up and keep playing even if songs contains very hard sections. (see certain songs in alternative engines)

Re: FFR Suggestions
I'd like to see a random mod implemented in the R^3 engine which scrambles the arrows so that none of them force any jacks under 3 frames. The current random mod is too hard/unstable for players, while the scramble mod makes things too easy at times (see: AIM Anthem anchors --> jumptrills). This would be amazing for players looking to clear up their bad habits while still providing some sense of trickiness for them.

Re: FFR Suggestions
My 2 suggestions:
1: in MP, when someone PM's you, it appears in the corner of your screen, and it makes you lag + it's distracting. I think there should be an option to stop that happening/make it default. 2: new option: mystery. This is a visual mod, which causes all your notes to appear as if you're getting all perfects, or nothing at all, and your combo to always be yellow. This means that when you get goods/averages/boos, you wont see them, so you can only know about your accuracy after the song is over. This can be annoying because you can AAA all the hard parts but get a good early on, so maybe you should be able to set it so that the mystery mod only starts at a certain combo. This might be too confusing, but if some people prefer to see certain accuracies but not others, there could be boxes to tick to indicate whether or not you want to see said accuracy. (i would like to be able to see misses.) This can be useful ingame as to stop distractions, and for fun. Last edited by klimtkiller; 10-25-2014 at 04:47 PM.. |
