Re: The BMS/IIDX Thread
There are various ways to mod your controller via making the keys more sensitive and reduce that issue. Some cut out cardboard circles and place them underneath the keys; others may use different material such as foam or coins. I had cardboard circles underneath, but removed them, so you may want to make some cutouts and add the cardboard back in.

Re: The BMS/IIDX Thread
eh, I could use coins but I think that could potentially ruin the controller
bare metal on a board is generally a bad idea |

Re: The BMS/IIDX Thread
Then something firm but semi-soft would work best. I suppose foam could permanently become squished over time. Coins could be rough as you said. Try cardboard or something.

Re: The BMS/IIDX Thread
too bad I don't have a utility knife here to cut cardboard with ):
I did try modding it a bit earlier today, but I used... construction paper lol dimes seem to be a good size, so I cut out circles roughly the size of a dime but construction paper is too thin; I'd have to stack a bunch of circles on top of each other at least I'm getting the hang of where the buttons are when I play but dat difficulty curve |

Re: The BMS/IIDX Thread
We have a IIDX machine in our area (Glen Burnie/Baltimore, MD), finally. It's beautiful.
