Not sure where to start with regards to weight lifting, but I'd like to read up on it.

Good job dude! Really awesome progress. If you need basic templates, a few have been posted in this thread over the past little while.

Also two years in and I'm paler than ever

chris you look great. it really shows what is possible naturally if you take essentially the ideal course of muscle development over two years.

on the flip side, photobucket. fucking photobucket. that's like the smith machine of image hosting.

Started taking Thai Boxing classes again...I needed it since I missed taking those classes

I did pretty well for my first day despite the fact that I couldn't sprawl...all the other workouts I was able to somewhat keep up with haha~

Thanks.

I don't like running. I prefer to walk. And also cause I have flat feet... and my knees were irreversibly damaged about 6 months ago from a fall down some stairs. So I'm scared if I go running and trip like I always do when running, I will f up my knees even more.

So, it's happening: I'm making a home gym so I can work out in private.

Does anyone have any input with respect to equipment? I'm thinking squat rack, bench, weight tree + plates, floor mats, and an Olympic bar -- and possibly an EZ Curl Bar.

That's pretty much everything you need, except the EZ curl bar - ditch it. I would just curl in your squat rack with the squat bar, like a boss.

And you literally just need a bench, not the entire setup, to bench, since you can do it in your squat rack. Don't know if you know this or not.

Not sure what the "entire setup" is but my intention is just to get, well, the bench. Just something to lie down on.

And yeah the squat rack would be used for pretty much every exercise -- I'm planning on using the safeties constantly as well.

Out of curiosity, why not the EZ curl bar?

The entire setup would be the usual racks that go with a bench press that you see in the gym. Obviously you already know you can use the squat rack as a bench press rack as well, so no worries.

Why no ez curl bar? Serves no major benefit IMO over a conventional bar, so it's a waste of money. I mean, if you really like them or something go ahead but otherwise I don't see the point.

Yeah now that I'll have a barbell, I won't be limited.

Thoughts on the SL program? ICF?
