Make FFR lag less and Run faster
To put FFR to the max performance, useing whatever browser, is to set the Priority of the browser to Real Time. To do this Ctrl+Alt+Delete for the task manager, Goto "Processes" tab, Find your browser.
IEXPLORE.EXE = internet explorer firefox.exe = firefox (if you have more than on browser up, more than one of them will show on the processes list making it hard to pick the right one) Right click whatever one you have, and go to "Set Priority" and you will have a list. It is set on normal for the standard setting, change it to anything higher and lag on ffr will most likely go away depending on your computer. Changing this will have no harm on your computer, it just focusses more of your computers power to your browser making it run faster, thus making the game run faster. You can do this to any program running slow on your computer, and do not end any of the processes if you dont know what they are. Glad I can try to help, feel free to post your results |

Re: Make FFR lag less and Run faster
results may vary? lol, refresh the page after you set the priority to. Should not make performance worse.

Re: Make FFR lag less and Run faster
Also if you have a dual core processor, you can set the affinity of everything to go to CPU 0 and your ie or firefox go to CPU 1.

Re: Make FFR lag less and Run faster
This actually only works IF you have the RAM and CPU for this..
If you try REALTIME and your computer lags to 100% CPU usage.. Or over 100,000 Ram usage.. you might try HIGHER not realtime.. |

Re: Make FFR lag less and Run faster
Realtime doesnt work for me, because if i click it it just goes to higher. Also, we have 5 computers in our house, and when I did this, the internet went out on all of them.

Re: Make FFR lag less and Run faster
actually, this is not a very smart idea. Sure it speeds it up, but if your computer has < 1GB ram this could be risky.
First of all, you are taking resources away from essential processes. If you are using IE, like me, which is a resource hog, and using ~150mb of RAM already, setting the priority to the highest will almost always cause crashes in some programs, most likely in explorer.exe. So, I would like to add, use at your own risk. And NEVER, NEVER set a process' priority to below normal if you want to free space up. NEVER!

I'll try, but not realtime from what I'm reading.
