Well, yes and no. You seem to be grouping together substantially different (and much nerdier/more otaku ish) things with only a jump from one category to the next. There's almost nothing to do with owning anime in general, # of series you've seen/are watching, or even how often you talk about stuff. The amount of Japanese you speak shouldn't really reflect being an otaku (as there IS the odd exception that you need the language for some sort of foreign business stuff or whatever); well, I guess you could say that it has some effect at a very minimal level of Japanese language knowledge.

So basically, yeah, you need more detail yet I think you need to organize the details into more categories with regards to the detail.

Category G, for example, highlights seriously considering going to Japan, which IMO, is a much more otaku ish characteristic than almost anything in category H.

So, just try to do a quick run through of all your details for each category and try to arrange them by taking a certain number of details in categories A,B, and C, and then steadily increasing the amounts of these details down further categories.

Have some consideration for closet otaku like Varia, Squeek, and I. People who want to enjoy watching anime and/or reading manga without having to associate with other otaku.

Nail on the head.

I don't go around telling people to like anime. I don't seek people who like anime and associate myself with them. I don't like the clubs. I don't wear shirts with Kanji on them. I don't even like Japanese food.

I just like how anime is much more dramatic and compelling over American television. We try and try to make things dramatic and interesting but in the end it has nothing on Japanese cartoons. Really that's the only difference between me and a TV-nerd who watches sitcoms all day long. And hey, I don't disregard American television either. Futurama, Family Guy, Seinfeld, Whose Line is it Anyway, The Price is Right, and Mythbusters are all amazing shows that deserve more credit than they receive.

The only things I have in my room that are from an anime are so subtle that you wouldn't even know I liked anime unless you booted up my computer and started browsing through my files. I have a Kuroneko plushie on one monitor, the goat from Last Exile on another, and the CCS Movie 2 DVD mixed in a basket of all my other DVDs (totally worth it by the way).

I have watched Dragonball Z and Pokemon when younger.

I think most people that watch anime now have watched DBZ and Pokemon when they were younger.
