That works, and i've figured it out, but now my music is unsorted and named random letters.
This will suck, if anyone knows an alternate way i'd be very grateful. PS- My bad.

I believe there's a program that will rip songs from ipods out there somewhere. My roommate definitely has one for his mac. For whatever reason my laptop automatically assumes the ipod is a storage device and lets me pull stuff off of it, but it is all jumbled up. None of the track titles or anything changes though.

To put my files on the computer, not delete them.

There are a whole bunch of those type of programs on http://www.softpedia.com. Do a search for ipod, and you'll find them. I personally don't know which to recommend.

RE: Re: RE: iPod help (desprite)
I just found a shareware program that isn't retarded, (xplay is the name of it). It's ripping music from my ipod onto my computer, and if i had 30$ to pay for it i would. My main problem is now all my music is in one big folder, instead of being neatly sorted like it once was.
