Re: TWG CLXVII Game Thread How Was Awakening Reviewed
I guess I'll expand a bit.
I'm worried you may be trying to generate an early town persona with your effort posting and are currently laying the groundwork to UTR with that town persona intact. Its a good long term wolf play, and I want to keep tabs on it.

Feel free to talk about other subjects in the meantime though. Don't let this request stalemate the thread.

Re: TWG CLXVII Game Thread How Was Awakening Reviewed
This is my last wolf game.
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=146487 I died the first day. I didn't even reach 20 posts and I was uncooperative. I froze because I had no idea what to say and I just imploded/fell apart even though I could have said anything. I don't really have a poker face and I fall apart really easily. 90% of the time, you can know my alignment accurately by the end of the first phase just by following why I'm doing actions and what are my intentions. This is a typical town game. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=146969 I hard claimed VT very early because I got pushed over principles. I proceed to make a world that I believe was the wolf team. I happened to be slightly more right than I expected. Regardless, the how was wrong and I created more conflicts than solved anything to make the game progress properly. I posted a lot too. --- tl;dr: I am not a good player, but I am fairly easy to read. You can trust the reads on me, but you should definitely question "why" I'm getting these town reads. Right now, I'm just trying to take a step back and give info that I consider potentially interesting while keeping in mind that players in this setup could have abilities related to information and characters. Outside of that, I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm also disgustingly opportunistic as both alignments. Give me one day and keep an eye on my actions/intentions. It should be obvious what I am even if it's your first game with me.

Whoa, I'm painful to read in these games. I'm going to go hide under a rock now.
Call me when you need me.

How to explain Haku's meta:
This is normal. If it's not normal, then we're fucked anyways. Look somewhere else.

Okay, I'll bite for now. soundwave's entrance post bugged me when I was reading through the thread. My notes say (s)he obviously isn't doing detective work as sumfan posted in post 133 about flashflash's reason for removal, and soundwave guesses about role pm shenanigans in post 188. Shouldn't have to guess when a solid FACT is in the thread.

Re: TWG CLXVII Game Thread How Was Awakening Reviewed
can't manti have an original opinion on you without bringing up your "meta"?
and for all of you TOWNREADERS OF HAKULYTE: trying to piece together the game does not instantly declare him as town, if that's what you're townreading him for so far I've liked Blind's entrance, we'll see how he shapes up he's the only player that I really have "good" feedback for, everyone else is sitting in null at the moment |

thanks for doing that. i don't think it matters overmuch that the name is outed since that page seems to suggest it wouldn't take a ton of research to figure out a potential character name (see the quote at the top of what you linked), but based on that i think we can figure some town neighbor who likely shouldn't claim |

You do not know what's Hakulyte's meta. You're addressing playstyle issues that goes in conflict with how players town read me normally. We have a problem. I can't seriously address your slot either right now because it's also my first game with you. I am stuck waiting to see how your game evolves. I normally push back players, but I have no fundation on how to evaluate you as a player. Therefore I'm stuck going back to basics and right now you're null for me. I posted a relatively worthless self-meta post and I cannot help you further myself. You have to depend on others to read me or to consult my previous games which is honestly not the most pleasant task. @roundbox; Have you played with Manti before? Can you help close the gap with information based on your experience?

Re: TWG CLXVII Game Thread How Was Awakening Reviewed
i can verify a lot of haku's self meta, but i don't think he has a postcount tell like that post might imply, it's just those are two relatively recent games
something i recall from my first game with him is that as a wolf he dug straight into the mechanics of the game and said something like "should we all claim night 0 peeks to throw off the wolves?" (in the standard cop turbo game), and then when he would rand town he'd actually putz around a bit with memes and comics like might be on display here as town he can be much better at asking questions to an almost annoying degree - annoying being both in the sense of frequent and having easy answers he can pull gambits (self-voting, hardclaiming VT never rescinding) as either alignment |

The operative phrase was "absurdly stupid". As in wasn't even trying to toe the line. Just some inferencing from sunfan's phrasing, but maybe I'm too hard on flash. B) Good job on that spotting though, you get some karma in my book.
