Especially the 13421324[13] burst and its mirror, which I specifically asked you if they were okay and you were like, yeah no problem. Sorry absolutely not sorry btw I'm actually really glad that a different part of the song is giving you and Luis trouble. That speaks to the file being one that fucks with everyone, which was a goal of mine.

Hilariously enough, the pattern that is getting me is this: That's on mirror, but I can't do it on either side anyway. The split-handed bursts are rough, but manageable when warm... I just can't get to them anymore. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 11-16-2014 at 11:56 AM.. |

[23][14][23] [12][34] similar to those 16th jumps in do i smile?
Still looks awkward as balls to do the left hand in that because it ends on an off-beat (rip left hand) |

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
I've been trying to do that, but the 240 BPM mini-jack hasn't been sitting well with me.
I'll give it some more attempts tonight, though. |

I play SoS three times and I am done for the rest of the day. Too hard to train.

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
D7 on Round 7 was all AAA's to move on to Round 8 in the 9th Official, except the file was a 91 and not a 96 haha. D7 is way more brutal this official.

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
On the other hand, D5 is maybe the easiest it's ever been post-2010 downtime of FFR (I have no idea what the tournaments were like prior to that since I didn't fuck with them, I only know that the first few had 4 divisions, later 5)

Case in Point: Round 7 of this tournament - Goblin, an 84 (originally an 83) Round 5 tiebreaker of 9th tournament - The Party's Starting, also an 84 but arguably a much more draining one with denser, worse flowing streams, jacks and gross bursts 8th tournament what the fuck i didnt play that shit Round 6 of 7th tournament - Rock Rock Rock, an 85, harder than round 7 of this one by a considerable margin Round 4 of the 6th tournament was fucking Halcyon [Xi]. Round 4. Also worth noting, D3 this tournament looks very, very sandbaggy.

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
6th official only had an 81 because D5 was doing too well, and even with Halcyon being round 4 at 81, the tournament still only ended at 89.
Tiebreakers are usually higher than their normal file in non-D7 files, and TPS came before Sokuseki, a MAIN song, which was initially rated an 82 (and dropped to 80 for round 6). Rock Rock Rock was a very bad choice given tournament structure, seeing as how Hero Reconsidering is also an 85 now, and the final of that tournament, well, we won't speak about it. Yes, this tournament is a bit lighter than previous tournaments. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 11-16-2014 at 06:02 PM.. |

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
I still think D5 of the 6th official was the funniest thing ever. Going 66 - 70 (This and 300 are horribly misrated IMO) - 66 (Way easier than the first 66) - 81 - 79 - 72 (okay actually 77) - 86 - 89

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
Goblin is tough for sure, but compared to Umbral Ultimatum, Hero Reconsidering (and Rock Rock Rock for that matter), and motherfucking Pandora, I think it stands as pretty relaxed.
Who knows what Round 8 holds though.
