usually what I do but I haven't gotten to the point where I know exactly what to build to counter what. If it's in my build I usually know to build it early but other than that I have a hard time finding what I need.

I only quickly look up guides sometimes for a newer champion I haven't ever tried before, in normals, to get an idea of which ability I may want to max first, since I won't have any idea of how the abilities scale or anything. Most of everything else in the game I've figured out how to assess, so, rip guides

I like sunfire cape at beginning. helps clear creeps at beginning if you stay cougar mode 75% the time.

edit: hmm maybe I should try that. All the items before it really help an AD nid

well i mean its kinda what happens
when you have a champion that has mana-free abilities in 1 form, and self-sustain & warding abilities in the other form while never dying

Not to mention AD Nidalee spears actually still hurt because spear has alright base damage (575 base for a max range spear without any AP)
