I like this, huge incentive for players wanting all the tokens to try and get the D7 exclusive. Incidentally, WILL be harder to get than Scarhand. |

Well that was part of the deal for making a D7, that they would have prizes that you can only achieve by reaching that level. I can probably give out the title now being that I think those who are left will probably play through.

All according to plan, but really, those bursts are really nasty to hit, haha.
Very hard to nab a AAA on Quark, I understand the frustration players may have. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4!
My velocity engine is lag-fucked now. It was fine before I tried using the isolation engine but now it's absolute shit, ugh.
Tourney medal should say, 'congrats on being able to run ffr the smoothest on your computer lolol' No offense to the tourney at all but goddamn this game is pretty lame if skill is so dependent on how fucking good it runs. Not that I would win without lag, but imagine if samurai or halogen or OWA simply couldnt get the game to run smooth for some reason over the course of the week. Pretty cool way to lose bleh, SM will cool me off :v Last edited by Dynam0; 02-15-2013 at 03:44 PM.. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4!
Unfortunately, it's been like that for many players this tournament. I said before, but I recommend maybe trying out R^2 with Flash 9. Seems to do the trick well enough that the visual lag and input lag would disappear.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4!
I'm playing R^2 with flash player 9 with disabled desktop composition under compatibility tab. I haven't had a engine problem at all in this tournament, maybe that helps.

The engine lagging is the only way I have a chance to not be eliminated.
r^2 ftw. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4!
lol velo engine is indeed screwed, i was using fp10 with R^2 for a while and it was goin alright, but now it's out of the question, R^3 is just way too different to get used to in time to be back at my skill level.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 4!
1-0-1-0 on my first solid run-through and not warmed up... after not playing for a week, 230 BPM seems pretty fast.
Edit: 1-0-1-1 etc. this shouldn't be bad with my usual keyboard woot. Double edit: Never mind, AAA on this crappy keyboard. Last edited by smartdude1212; 02-15-2013 at 05:01 PM.. |
