I quit the day Cataclysm released.. I came back about 6 months ago, and just recently quit again when Mist dropped. and from my understanding im not the only one..

(Been playing since beta release)

So what's the highest MMRs everyone here as gotten, in any season.
What comp(s) did you run, and what was your favorite.. I always loved talking about arena for that was my favorite aspect of the game.

I hit 2570 playing Affliction-Warlock season 7 (during wotlk)
We ran Shadowcleave (UnHoly DK, Affliction Lock, Hpala/Rshaman)
Was probably one of the best teams i ever played with.. we had a crazy stupid win loss. like 140-20s or so, it was insane.

If you didn't arena, what raids did you attend, and how far was your guild in progression?

Though i hate the game, ive spent too much time in it to just forget about it..
Still love to talk about it though

EDIT: Also who is your favorite 'WoW Celeb' (youtube channels, arena junkies/elitistjerks/skillcapped, and/or tournament players)?

Redid my UI a little bit. Oh yea, I started playing again. Had to start a new character because of some bullshit, but whatever. Almost fully geared thanks to my guild. I also hit 2550 rating so I'm basically getting max arena points per week. Only a matter of time now before full wrathful again.

I don't watch other people play WoW. It seems incredibly boring and I think the idea of any particular person being famous for it rather stupid. So I've never heard of anyone and I don't care to.

Yeah i hear ya. Usually when i watch videos it's for criticizing tactical errors in peoples game plays.. Overall watching videos alone has made me a better player but we're all not the same :P

What comps are running strong now in Mist?
I heard WLD is very strong

I was gonna post a Sarth 3 drake zerg video from pre-ulduar patch of Lich King, but looks like it doesn't exist anymore, nor does my old guild or website.

I stopped playing once Ulduar was released, we did the 10 man zerg the night before the patch hit and it was inconceivably easier after.

Oh well. I'd link the armory but that's done too. This game was fun once, but now it's pretty dumb how easy it is.
