Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
Can the genre for the D2 song be changed to "not dubstep"

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
I totally agree with you, the middle trips me up, I had to play it a few times for a full combo, I think D2 is the division with the fewest AAA's so far, I'll keep practicing to see if I can at least SDG it

I have never experienced so much lag in my entire 5 years here...I can't even make it through Gun Sounds again so I hope my score makes it...unfortunate because I know for a fact I can AAA this no prob

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
It gets easier quickly, there is really only two patterns you need to learn. The up-down trill and then the 32nd notes in the middle. Most dudes could SDG I imagine, once they have got their hand on it. A constant rhythm like that, shouldn't be toooo hard.

Yeah I find D2 second round song easier than the 1st song, more enjoyable song and stepfile.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
D1: It's a nice piano piece that's not really that difficult, I think it might be a bit too easier than the round 1 chart, but it does speed up near the end which will probably throw some D1 players off.
D2: That trill in the beginning will also be the end to some D2 players as well as the rest of the chart. This one is brutal compared to the last rounds chart. This will definitely ween the tough players and players still struggling. D3: Those mini-hand jacks are a for-sure troll bait for players in D3. Other than though, this chart is fun regardless of those tough mini-hand jacks. It's certainly more bang than their first round. D4: Being biased, SGHFDGSGHSFI FREAKING FOREVER TO AAA FOR SOME REASON. Anyways... now that's out of the way, this chart is way too easy for the second round of D4. Granted D4's round one chart was overly difficult to the max to AAA, it just feels in comparison way too easy. This round I'm predicting a AAA or die scenario. If not that, then most definitely Black flag or die. 2 goods is being too idealistic. D5: Oh my... this chart is difficult, but SO GOD DAMN FUN. This chart, I'm not sure since I'm not there yet in skill, will give some D5 players some troubles. Definitely because of the random difficulty curves around the chart. It's not the steppers fault though, it's just how the song goes. D6: lol, why is this a D6 chart? Anyways, it's already happening, AAA or die, not much else to be said about it. It's a really fun stream chart though. I love it regardless if it's too easy for D6 players. |

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
I lagged hard on the easier files this round. They were actually harder to AAA than the D6 file because of this.

I liked Since 1983 but to me it's about a billion times too easy for D6 lul.

Yeah, a lot of people are experiencing lag, while others not at all. I'm not exactly sure why.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
d4 and d6 got off easy this round
d1s file was cool/well stepped and appropriate d2s file was again cool and stuff but seemed like a bit of a difficulty jump lol. d3s file is causing a lot of trouble with dem jacks and stuff but cool. d4s file was easy and will have super low cutoff. for ppl saying a flower garden is easier than euro morroc, plz hang urself. jk but thats totally subjective, a flower garden is super technical while euro is just broken jumpstream lol, the jumptrill at the end is o_o tho.... and d6s file is lol easy, def not appropriate for use in d6 and all them crazy cats are just blazing through the file. once again cool songs and charts tho hopefully the quality remains |

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
Congrats to all of you guys who go farther in the tourney. I didn't really expect to make it past round two in all honesty xD But it was actually fun. I've been playing FFR on and off for a while and alloyus actually managed to convince me to participate in this tournament. It was really fun, quite a bit frustrating, and showed me I have the ability to improve from where I am. So good luck to the rest of you! (Sorry, pretty sure I just monologued.. Weird...)

Oh cool you posted. In the song discussion thread. Instead of the tournament thread. Still proud though! But still think you could FC if you keep playing xP
