Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
I fully admit it's overlayered. I happen to be fond of overlayered files.
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but then you can't please everyone.

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Coming back from Costa Rica in two days, but REALLY ****ing late on Monday. Apparently the flight is arriving at 11:30 PM on Monday so with all the airport stuff including luggage and driving back home etc. it´s gonna be Tuesday at like 1 am or something before I actually arrive back home (lol so much for wanting to go to school right after)
Tomorrow is my last activity, white water rafting. I hope you guys are having fun in this tournament. I definitely won´t be in the mood to play these files for a few days, I´m exhausted from this trip haha. |

@Crazyjayde
I hate you. And I can't beat my old score. Also The Legend of Zelda should be a 10. I can FC this song every time I want with a good sightread. But this one : Should be a 11. There's no pause in that song. It just keep on going for 3 minutes. I can't FC that one yet. Also hi19, you do realize you're making files to piss people off? |

Most people who has been telling me to bump Zelda Theme was a D4 player or higher who just find the beginning and ending patterns extremely hard to PA well (and I certainly agree with that) Though I personally hardly find Starlight dense enough to be an 11, perhaps you are not used to reading handstream? Either way I wouldn't read too much into the file difficulties. If you guys want a change made with regards to the difficulties it's not hard to make, so don't get all up in arms about it. I'd much prefer if you focus on the files themselves :P Well I would hope you're having some fun in the process, but yes if you get competitive about it then a good deal of frustration tends to come with that. After all, there's got to be a loser or two for every winner

As for Legend of Zelda, I found it quite weird to be a 11 since it is my all-time best file for that difficulty. My second best is Midnight Dragon with 21 goods... Yes, the pattern at the beginning is hard, but it lasts 5 seconds. Imo, the rest of the song compares to a 10. and yes, I'm having fun so far in this ^ |

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Well... I will consider moving Zelda back down to a 10. It is very slow for a FMO, just that one rather awkward pattern.
It could be a 10 like SAMBISTA is in FFR, FMO level in difficulty to PA because of how awkward parts are, but just too slow to really be FMO. And, it's good to know you are having fun ^_^ Try not to get too frustrated haha

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
HOLY CRAP. I feel like D3's song just goes on forever.... There is no breaks. Definitely feels higher than a 10. This is really tough.
Zelda is still annoying as hell. Though I think I figured out how to PA the beginning, just cannot do it consistently at all. |

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Well I kinda want to second that comment Noname just made, in the sense that Starlight Reverie is so much harder than Main Theme (Legend Of Zelda) concerning the execution. I'd have to agree that the steps in itself are technically in the right range of difficulty but the complexity just feels a notch higher. (apart from the mini-jacks and the handstreams) Sighreading it was like getting headbutted, considering I still have to get in the FFR mood again. xD And yet, I've been doing LoZ for the past hours and I still could manage to pull off SDG's quite a lot of time. (I was heading for 5 goods but the stress got the rest of me :\)
But again, I'm just giving feedback, I think it's necessary. It's gonna be a nice challenge anyway. And hey thanks for the compliment hi19. (Noname, I hate you too, it's just the way things go >) |
