I'll go with 10, but only if it works to those who have already made a token in the past and don't just whore out the system.
I don't get it. What difference does it make? If someone unlocks 50 of them before making a token, why should that make them different from someone who unlocks 50 after making a token?
How about making the second token 10 unlocks, the third 11, the fourth 12, etc.?
Edit: I'm just offering a suggestion. I have no real preference so long as it's feasible.

I feel as though that they should at least make a token first, without any litigation or problems beforehand (like everyone here who already has). Then, they can chronicle their progress as they unlock each token, and once they get to 10, then they can make a new one. However, I think that if one isn't made after the 10, and people just keep trying to accumulate their token creation points, I feel as though that person shouldn't be able to create said amount. Use it, or lose it.
However, I did not think about the increasing increment logic. Good idea. But, will there be a cap to it? Because, again, what if there isn't enough tokens to get, and the next token creation is available to said person in 30-something unlocks?

Only reason I don't like this is because some people like to unlock tokens without ever making one. :]
I'm actually fine with say, 10 unlocks gets you another token (not including your own tokens of course)
While the idea isn't awful, I don't really lean towards a progressive increase because it just doesn't seem like it would be necessary if we set the number for the next unlock at something reasonable.

NO Okay, maybe. But, it should be available to those with a higher ranking on the scoreboards. (Like me? No, I wouldn't be able to get the tokens and claim accumulative point. 5,402 is no good rank.) But someone with a high enough ranking should be able to do so.
My logic is FLAWLESS
Oh yeah. Is anyone willing to help me with my token design? D:

Okay, so people who have never stepped a Token or Skill Token file for FFR need to give back their tokens and skill tokens
I still don't like the idea of having the creator being capable of unlocking the token. It's like giving yourself a free ride for bragging rights in my opinion lmfao. Kind of defeats the purpose eh?
But then again, I also am not in favor of highly arbitrary requirements. Just because a token is difficult to unlock doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be looked as a godlike token.
Well if they make it they have to be able to do it, so in a sense they already have the token to begin with.
edit: but yeah I see where you're coming from iironiic
