Lagging way too much?
I know when the site came back up it had frequent lag issues... but then it barely happened to me and i could just refresh it away. Now it lags up every game that i play and it wont fix itself, wth?

What browser do you use to play FFR? What engine are you using? Assuming you're using the main engine, I would suggest you try using Velocity's engine..it reduces lag significantly and has additional features that could help even further reduce your lag. I'll provide you with the link.

Re: Lagging way too much?
Right Click on the menu
Settings > DISABLE hardware acceleration I found that it reduced my lag by quite a bit! Also download Game booster 2.1 - it shuts down all unnecessary background programs, so you'll have more speed for FFR. |

Re: Lagging way too much?
You can also try zooming out, that always works for me. Not the best fix, but its quick. And also try pressing the Q button to lower the quality.
I have found that the velocity engine does not help with lag. it increases it. especially the beta velocity engine. |

Re: Lagging way too much?
I've found some lag in FFR.
I'll be getting perfects and then randomly for no reason get a Good. So I've never been able to AAA a song using FFR. That is why I look at everyones scores with 2000 odd Perfects and think...how? EDIT: The Velocity one improves matters considerably for myself Okay, never mind. On slower songs yes, but not faster ones EDIT 2: Oh, I never got complete fall outs on the original engine... I did quite a few times on a couple of songs on that engine. Last edited by Kage06; 01-15-2011 at 07:57 PM.. |

Re: Lagging way too much?
gamebooster + standalone flash 9 + disable acceleration + Random day luck = No lag...
i mean, it is way better when u use these 3 things, but you have to be in a lucky day or else it will lag for no reason, i can't understand.. it depends on the day and time |
