Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I could help judge but like I mentioned before I've never been on the FFR judging panel let alone submit to the game so I don't really have a clue about how **** works here, rofl.

Judgement here isn't that different from SM packs/KBO judgement except for a few things, so won't be difficult. Those are only different things I guess? - Only songs we have permission are available. - Freezes, Mines, Rolls, Multiple difficulties aren't allowed. - Hands are only available on hard(FMO or above) files (this isn't really clear now) |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I would strongly support the decision that Gundam-Dude be added to judges if he would like to. Judging for ffr only requires to be more open minded for easier files since those are just as important. Besides that just what jx said and the judgment ratings are explained in tass' batch thread.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
My stepping, uh, sense has improved since the last file I've submitted here... I had been successful then, and I can do better now...
I see there are already a good lot of qualified people up for judging, but if we ever need more... I'm offering to help. I have time, and this is definitely something I would be able to focus on. |

Considering you're a prolific FFR artist, you can be the one if you want I think.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Ya, its kinda hard for one to learn if they only show up in songs they are prob not even able to keep up with or do. This rule should be re thought about but if hands/quads end up in easier files, they need to make sense and not be overused for the sake of having them in there just to have them or for a difficulty boost. Songs like easier piano files for example may need or have a use for hands but this rule is blocking that.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
The only thing with letting hands get into lower difficulty files is we don't want people shoving a bunch of hands into a 3 because there's 3 sounds to layer in some really slow piano song or something. I think having a limit is good, but FMO is too high. Maybe something like no hands before 6's? That might need some debate about it.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
challenging and above i say. the only reason being because you have to remember that not everyone is going to be using spread as their default setup right off the bat. most people will be using one hand or index and hitting hands/quads using one hand/index when barely starting to play is pretty much impossible and may be too daunting for new players. challenging seems like the perfect difficulty to start adding hands because its what i think of as a transition difficulty that starts to incorporate some of the harder patterns while still maintaining the flow and predictability of the easier difficulties

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I'd say make hands be in like 7's+ that way I can see if my file has a chance to make the game. XD

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Well I don't really judge difficulty the way that Tass did. There can even be hands in some 8's the way I see things, just so long as it's not overdone.
