Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
I have heard nothing of the sort. It's not on the website, and people I see at level 30 or above are still whatever subclass you pick up at 18.

When you make a toon and read its description, it tells you the classes they can be...

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
The game is still in it's beginning phase, if they released all the content at once, people would get bored quickly. Releasing content slowly over time so a lot of people can play what's there already keeps people coming back in hopes of new content.

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
All you have to do is look at WoW to see how all that works out.

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
I played WoW religiously for 4 years. I've also jumped straight into games that have been going on strong for years that have had most content already released. I always lost interest in the games that had all the content already released, because there was nothing to look forward to anymore.

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
That pretty much sums it up. I never quite reach the highest point I can in WoW so when something new comes out, I have something to do and look forward to. If everything has been out for sometime, I get bored quickly and end up making a **** ton of alts.

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
As a game company with a little bit of experience now, what they're doing is a smart move. They'll keep more players this way, even though this game was released in Korea. If you want all the content now, go play that version.

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
For me, its not about the content, it just seems like they are going to have to add a fair amount since it looks like the levels only go up to like 60, thats just a guess. I think they are going to end up adding more zones or at least adding more quests at some point. At least its a lot better quest wise then say maple story...thats like running into a wall with your head trying to find quests.

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
Just finished all Mirkwood and Thunderland on my priest, booyah.
Also just got Canna's Slave title finally on my Slayer and all I have left to do is Shadow Thunderland quests before I hit up some King Road runs for items before Sky Tower.

I'm saying I've heard nothing about additional classes at level 30. Was on a Behemoth server helping my brother do some stuff and the majority of people were level 30+ and still sporting one of the same 4 subclasses that class has always had. Where did you get this idea there were job tiers from?

From the Nexon forums:
At level 48, Ranger becomes Desperado and learns the awakening skill "Scud Genocide" Spitfire becomes Viper and learns "Special Forces: Black Rose" Mechanic becomes Machinist and learns "Gaebolg Punch" Launcher becomes Wrecking Ball and learns "Satellite Beam" That's the only bit I've found about it so far, looking for more...

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
Link to the forum page?
Besides, that just looks like you get a new title after gaining a high enough level. It's not like you get to branch out. If Ranger becomes Desperado, then Ranger = Desperado. We turn this into a math equation, there are still just 4 subclasses per class. Except priest. (So there is no "Avenger" class still. That being my point.)

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
Yeah but I was just saying that there's something else they become. They get a kickass AOE apparently. I haven't even gotten to 30 yet so just going by what people have said in-game.
There's no reason to link the page because that was the only mention of it in the thread. Aren't there going to be different sexes of the classes released too? Maybe it's time to check out the Korean version to see what we're going to be getting...

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
Anyways, pretty much about ready to quit even before I reach 2nd job. It's a grind fest at level 17ish already. Can't buy pots without Victory points, and now I dueled for hours and my ****ing victory points capped at 240 (4 per victory, what a joke..) and I'm level 7 PVP. Bored as **** now..

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
Grind fest at 17? 5-6 runs (probably less) of Dragonoid Nest King's Road runs to get you to a point that opens up lots of fun stuff and gets you on a fast track to 5 more dungeons that you only have to go through 2-4 times each (assuming you play in groups). I wouldn't be playing this game still if I had to play it alone.
I think it took me 30-45 minutes to get my mage from 17-18 and I'm no expert leveler. I guess if it's not fun for you it's not fun but I like some of the repetitiveness (unless it's a super annoying dungeon). I still don't know why I didn't get "The Importance of Basics" title. I finished all the quests for it. *shrug*

Re: Dungeon Fighter Online
There's a final quest for the actual title. You have to beat every one of the "Beat dungeon with Rank/Style/Technic/Without getting hit" quests, and then there's a final one to beat Castellan's Chamber on Kings without using a token.

But goddamn Silver Night is a hard dungeon to solo. The damn brawler or whatever you have to fight is such a bitch. Fallen, yeah I know what you mean. For potions though you can always just user stores.
