What I don't understand is generally there is a key for rides like that, that would be removed when the ride is not being used. There was no reason for this to happen.

yea its lame that the ppl made jokes and laughed at the kid but come one. if there are 6 years old wandering around un supervised and are able to turn on a ferris wheel, then i really dont feel bad. there could be simple steps to prevent the ferris wheel from being operated....

but I dont think laughing, pointing, and cracking jokes made it any better though. True. it was a hopless situation, but under the circumstances, a lot of things in this story made it far worse.

But this situation is just plain stupid anyways. You all touched based on it and there is no need to repeat what you guys said as well as the news report.

hay man you need to crack off some humour now and then or the world will be a bad place, consider the emotional gain of those people laughing their asses off while the kid was splatting on the ground. if you ask me, yes, the kid has died for a good cause.
