Recruiting?
Ok, I tried tossing this idea around last time there was no activity but nobody cared.
Well, in light of opening up this forum and seeing "11 members & 3 guests" I decided I should bring it up again. There really is a need for an alternate TWG. A version of the game where in the case of inactivity, both veteran players and complete newbs can sign up. It would'nt be a thread to be propped up and put on display like the jTWGs and TWGs we have now. Just an alternative to waiting around on our asses while people are inactive. I hope the TWC can validate this idea. |

Re: Recruiting?
Rzr, we can't even drum up support to get the TWG started.
I fail to see how another TWG would help this issue. |

Re: Recruiting?
Exactly. We can't get players for TWG But jTWG is doing fine. There's probably FFRers out there who'd like to play. But can't because they aren't allowed to skip ahead to TWG. And there's you, me, and heavy who want to play but can't. See my point? *bites lip, nervously*

Re: Recruiting?
problem: not enough people to play in both jTWG and TWG
solution: make three games?

Re: Recruiting?
once again this idea defies logic, as pnt pointed out.

Re: Recruiting?
combine the 2 back into 1? jTWG was initially created because we had too many people that wanted to play, but we felt the majority of new users needed experience before being able to jump into a game with the pros.
since there no longer are any pros that play TWG... why not combine them back into 1 game? especially since you can't find enough people to play in 2 at once.

Re: Recruiting?
But I don't think you realize that with your idea, you'll have 1 full game and two empty games. Tass's idea makes the most sense seeing as your logic is about as flawed as R2.

Re: Recruiting?
Either way I threw an 8 player man-hunt game up. There's enough of up almost just on this thread.

I know it's true in my case, I think it's true in several other cases too. As soon as school ends activity will pick up again. Give it 2-3 weeks.

Re: Recruiting?
A break or hold on TWG always does good for activity, so long as the break isn't so long that we forget about TWG =P. I think a month or so break would be good for activity, especially if we can get a really creative and fun game set up in the meantime.

Re: Recruiting?
hey guys, I think a month long ban is too long. I will definitely start to forget about it. Maybe two weeks as manti said. I don't know, my school year is done now. So I am ready anytime anyone else is.
