Well, it seems that in an outcry against the death of 2d side-scrollers, a team went and put together Half-Life 2...2d, named Codename: Gordon.
 The 6 levels span over what we know of the game so far, with you fighting Zombies, Combine Soldiers, Spinny-blade things, and...more. Download it and try it out. Been there... Done that... Beaten it....
I was playing on CS the night this game was released onto STeam, so I played it about 2 months ago when it first came out.... For a sidescroller-shooter, the game sure does require quite a bit of video memory.... I was kind of lagging a bit even with 32MB video.... But it was fun to play.... I reccomend the game as well...

i hated it... im big into cs and i think its just a waste of time for valve to be working on crap like that when they could be working on counter strike source and stuff....

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |
